A really nice boat trip with Jaap!
A really nice boat trip with Jaap! I first doubted whether I would go, when I heard that we still had to wait 15 because of a system failure. But Jaap responded very understandingly and dealt with it with a lot of humor. It ended up being a surprisingly fun trip. I know almost every corner of Amsterdam, but I never thought of a canal cruise. I often walk along the Damrak and have always been curious, so when I had the chance, I decided to just try it. A good choice! Jaap is incredibly friendly and professional, a really nice man. The route he showed us was beautiful. I highly recommend a canal cruise if you are in Amsterdam. Really worth it! Thanks, Jaap!

Pleasant evening canal cruise.
We had a good time with Ekienne. His was pleasant, informative and a good tour guide.

Joe is excellent.
Our captain Jaram (Joe for short) gave us a unique tour down some of the quieter canals because there were only 3 passengers. (Guides cannot use speakers in these canals because they're residential). He know everything, had a wily sense of humour and told us facts for every possible question we had about the buildings and canals.
