Amsterdam Luxury Open Boat Cruise with Optional Unlimited Drinks

Description
Step aboard and discover the true charm of Amsterdam from the water. Glide past iconic sights like the Anne Frank House, the Red Light District, and the Skinny Bridge, while also exploring quieter canals where everyday life unfolds. Watch locals enjoying coffee in the sun, cyclists rushing by, and couples capturing special moments—these authentic scenes make the city unforgettable. Enjoy a comfortable and intimate cruise with Lovely Cruises’ sustainable, small, open electric boats, offering a quiet and environmentally friendly way to explore the canals. Because our Lovely boats are smaller, they can navigate canals that larger canal boats cannot reach, offering a more intimate way to experience Amsterdam. The boats are also equipped with blankets, umbrellas, and a covered option for bad weather. There’s even a bar on board for a refreshing drink. Sit back, relax, and as you cruise through both the wide and narrow canals, listen to the guide for fascinating stories about the city.

Itinerary
The Anne Frank House is a historic canal-side building where Anne Frank and her family hid during World War II. Now a museum, it preserves the secret annex and tells the powerful story of her life and diary. As we pass by, you’ll see one of Amsterdam’s most important and moving landmarks from the water.
The Skinny Bridge, known locally as the Magere Brug, is a charming wooden drawbridge spanning the Amstel River in Amsterdam. Famous for its elegant design and nightly illumination, it’s one of the city’s most photographed landmarks. As we sail underneath, you’ll get a perfect view of this historic bridge and its classic Dutch architecture from the water.
The Red Light District in Amsterdam is a historic neighborhood known for its narrow streets, canals, and distinctive nightlife. It is famous for its legalized sex work, visible behind illuminated windows, as well as its mix of bars, coffee shops, restaurants, and cultural landmarks. Despite its reputation, it’s also one of the city’s oldest areas, with notable architecture and a unique atmosphere that blends history with modern urban life.
The Rijksmuseum is the national museum of the Netherlands, showcasing centuries of Dutch art and history. It’s best known for masterpieces by artists such as Rembrandt and Johannes Vermeer. As we pass by, you’ll see one of the country’s most important cultural landmarks.
The A'DAM Tower is a modern landmark on the banks of the IJ River. It offers panoramic views over the city and is home to restaurants, bars, and even Europe’s highest swing. From the water, you get a great perspective of this contemporary contrast to Amsterdam’s historic skyline.
The NEMO Science Museum is a striking, ship-shaped building rising above the water. This interactive museum is all about science and technology, especially popular with families and curious minds. As we sail past, you’ll notice its unique design that looks like the bow of a giant green ship.
The Bloemenmarkt is the world’s only floating flower market, located along one of the city’s canals. Here you’ll find colorful displays of flowers, bulbs, and Dutch souvenirs. As we pass by, you’re seeing a unique and fragrant piece of Amsterdam’s local culture.

Best Amsterdam boat tour I have been on in ages. Gigi and Joeri were fantastic. Just the right balance of interesting facts and humour, plus a gift for creating a really nice atmosphere on the boat. It was a brilliant tour; one I would definitely recommend to others and want to do again. Also, we booked it on a whim to fill a gap in our schedule and the tour ran absolutely to time, which was perfect for us. The departure point easy to find and the boat had very comfy seats. The fact that they have umbrellas to hand if (when) the Amsterdam weather does its worst is also a plus!! Thank you very much Jiji, Joeri and colleagues for a great boat trip!
We had an excellent first class boat trip on Saturday 15th August with Emma and Juliam, both very friendly, knowledgeable and shared some interesting facts about the city of Amsterdam. I also thought Emma, who lead on most of the trip, to have a great sense of humour, and made the hour long trip most enjoyable. I would recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
Brilliant experience!! Would definitely recommend we had the best time
My wife and I went on the one-hour unlimited drinks tour as part of a visit to Amsterdam a couple of weeks ago. Our guides, Jewel & Ruben, were brilliant and toured with a lovely blend of knowledge and humour. We learnt an awful lot and it was our favourite part of our visit.
We booked a canal cruise with Lovely Cruises Amsterdam during our trip last week and had such a great time. Definitely something I’d recommend if you’re visiting Amsterdam! We happened to be there during the heatwave, so one tip if you’re visiting when the weather is particularly hot would be to book one of the later sunset cruises. Ours was around 8pm, which was perfect as it was a little cooler and really lovely being out on the canals as the evening started to set in. The cruise lasted around an hour to an hour and a half, which felt just right. We chose the option with drinks included, which covered beer, wine and soft drinks. Spirits, mixers and cocktails were available at an additional cost, which was absolutely fine. Our host, Viktor was brilliant! Really funny, friendly and informative, and he made the whole experience very relaxed and enjoyable. Unfortunately, I can’t remember our Skipper's name, but he was lovely too and duo made us feel really welcome. It was such a nice way to see Amsterdam from a different perspective, especially in the evening, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. If you’re heading to Amsterdam and looking for a canal cruise, I’d definitely recommend Lovely Cruises Amsterdam. We’d happily book with them again!
Very good atmosphere and relaxing time on the boat with Ema and Nour.
Ema was a wonderful guide! ❤️ She was professional, funny, and made our Amsterdam canal cruise a truly enjoyable experience. We learned so much about the history of Amsterdam, but also about what is happening in the city today and some great local stories and insights. She made the whole journey fun, interesting, and memorable. We highly recommend her! And when we come back to Amsterdam, we would definitely want to take another cruise with Ema. If you’re looking for a guide who can make your Amsterdam experience truly special, Ema is the one to choose! ❤️

We had such a great time on the canal tour! Fernanda was amazing: super friendly, attentive and always making sure everyone was enjoying the experience. She explained everything really well and made the tour fun and interesting from beginning to end. You can tell she really enjoys what she does, and that makes such a difference. Definitely recommend doing a tour with her!
