The Canal Cruise was worth it!

It was run by Blue Boat Cruises and was great! We had an open boat, and the cruise lasted ~75 mins. Our guide (Max) is knowledgeable about Amsterdam, and there is so much we would not have found out without taking this cruise. Definitely recommend!

Must-Do Canal Cruise

Delightful tour! The captain, Lucien, did a wonderful job of highlighting points of interest in and around the beautiful canals, and providing history and context. His delivery was perfect and full of humor. The cruise length was perfect us, too. A must-do.

Easy, Relaxing, and Worth Every Minute

Blue Sky open boat. This Amsterdam canal cruise was absolutely wonderful. We learned so much about the city throughout the journey. The boat had very comfortable seating, making the experience relaxing and enjoyable. Our guide was both entertaining and highly knowledgeable, keeping us engaged while educating us about Amsterdam’s history and landmarks. Highly recommend!

A great fun and cheerful trip with Captain Cynthia

Spontaneously booked a boat trip last Sunday. Helped quickly and well in the store. Great reception on the quay. The trip was fun, a great fun and convivial Captain Cynthia. She brought stroopwafels for everyone. The stories about the city and details were interactive and funny. This was really the most fun canal trip for years for me. Highly recommended.

Attention!!! Not really a kids cruise

Attention! The "Kids Cruise" aren't really a kids cruise I was ordering in advance for a kids cruise. The advertising, and even the short movie on the official website was showing a cruise that offered some small toys and coloring notebooks to "create a comfortable experience for the parents as well". What we really had was: nothing like that. We sat in the heat, with no shade at all, with three children, on the back of the boat, near the toilet, with no chairs and table It could have been nice cruising around the canals for one hour with no children, but with three children who had nothing to do, in a very small space... You can imagine... I will definitely will not recommend for families, or anyone who doesn't like to get tricked by false commercial

Beautiful small boat ride with exciting live explanations from the captain!

Very nice tour with small boat and sympathetic captain, who explains a lot about the city and the individual houses and buildings. We were 14 people and there could have been 3 to 4 more guests without things getting tight. Why the Tour Tripadvisor advertises the tour with a maximum group size of 10 people is a mystery to me. You lose confidence when such promises are not true.

Perfect

I recommend everyone should spend a few extra quid to go in a small open boat tour rather than a large covered window tour. It is much more personal and max is 10 but we had 6 which made it even better. Our captain Hans obviously is not just incredibly knowledgeable on his history of the canals but blatantly loves his city and adores sharing both with everyone. He was amazing and captivating. If I could rate him more than 5 stars then I would!

Relaxing way to see the city on a sunny afternoon

We enjoyed an open boat cruise on a sunny day in Amsterdam. It was a relaxing way to get to see the city and understand its buildings and development. We enjoyed seeing so many bridges and canals. Our captain was friendly and informative. He was happy to answer questions. We would highly recommend this trip
