Algarve Coast Full-Day Private Tour

We had a great day out with Johnny (João). Having grown up in Algarve, he knows every spot and every place that is worth visiting in this beautiful area. As an experienced guide, he also knows every angle and every pose for photos in every spot! João was very attentive to our needs and explains everything very clearly and precisely. He is hospitable and welcoming (like a typical Portuguese, he said). We feel like we were reacquainting with an old friend than touring with a guide. We enjoyed the conversations on the wide ranging topics along the way. In sum, we had a very informative and enjoyable day along the coast. As I sit here in rainy Ireland in late September I'm brought back to our family holiday a couple of weeks ago where we stayed at the alfagar aparthotel in the most divine weather. I also chuckle and think about our wonderful, funny charismatic tour guide Johnny whom we net in 2023 through a friend whilst organising transfers to and from faro airport. I have to say Johnny is one of the most politest, informative person we have ever met on our regular trips to Portugal. What started off as a transfer from airport ended up with us usually booking Johnny for a day tour whilst we are on holidays. He brought us to some of the most beautiful places in August and he was so relaxed and accomadating that it felt more like doing a tour with a friend rather than a company. The children really like Johnny and love meeting him when we go back annually on our trips to Portugal. An absolutely superb guy and super knowledgeable on all the local history and culture. If you love stopping in some of the most random places to get some of the best photos then a tour with Johnny is a must. Great value for money and honestly a genuinely lovely person. So if your in the albuferia region and want a lovely guided private tour with your family then give him a call and I promise you will have a fantastic day out with your family. Till next year!!!

We booked a full-day coast tour of the Algarve with Johnny and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He was a fantastic guide — thoughtful, prepared, and made sure we had everything we needed along the way, including plenty of water. What really stood out was his deep knowledge of the region; he clearly knew the history and stories behind every stop, which made the whole day so much richer than just sightseeing. 5 stars I have travelled to my fair share of places around the world and have been on many tours, and I can confidently say that Johnny was among the absolute best. Johnny was very polite, accommodating, and genuinely kind. He put a lot of thought into the locations which he brought us to and was very knowledgeable about both their history and unique geographical features. I would 100% book Johnny's services again; it being one of the highlights of my trip.

What an amazing day in the beautiful area of Albufeira. Johnny is very knowledgable about this area, the history of Portugal 🇵🇹 and the towns in this area . He gave us ample time to explore the surrounding, took us to the best restaurant. Vehicle is airconditioned and Johnny is a very safe driver. We had a good supply of cold water , and the use of clean bathrooms arranged by Johnny at restaurants that he knows the owners. This is definitely a tour guide we can recommend. Our trip was an amazing experience, our guide Johnny is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, accommodating, helpful! His knowledge about the history of Portugal , the Algarve and the towns in this area is excellent. He gave us ample time to walk and explore, took pictures of us . Great tour of the Algarve’s coast including a small boat tour of the Bengil caves which entered all the caves . Lunch was exceptional as were the views from the cliffs. Johnny made the day comfortable informative but he was not intrusive and flexible with our group
