Discover one of the most beautiful landscapes in Spain and visit the Albufera of Valencia, a range of forests, rice padies, lakes and valencian history, where you can enjoy a unique day out to the Mediterranean coast.
We'll pick you up from the meeting point and head to the Albufera lake, just ten kilometres away from Valencia. We'll be making several stops during this activity. We'll visit El Saler to admire some virgin dunes, as well its beach and the Mediterranean sea. An unique enviroment.
Did you know Albufera Lake is Spain's biggest lake? We'll enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of it from the Gola de Puchol pier while our guide tells you its unique Mediterranean ecosystem and a little bit of history.
Before continuing , we will make a stop trying to whatch autochthonous birds in a very particular area. Birds as: Heron, cormoran, ducks, seagulls, little starks, flamingos, partridge, and more
Our next stop will be El Palmar. This island of the Albufera (meaning lagoon in Valencian) encapsulates its fishing roots that have characterised this area of Valencia throughout history. There are still some 18th-century houses! We''ll be around the main streets, pass by monuments and enjoy a boat ride to admire the area's delights from a different perspective.
Step inside a traditional Valencian “barraca” — the iconic thatched house of the Albufera region. Learn how fishing families once lived here, from its simple yet clever architecture to the customs, tools, and daily life that shaped this unique way of living.
After the activity, we will return to Valencia meeting points.

Very, but really very beautiful!! The guide, Monica, explained many stories and facts about the place to us. Then the boat experience at sunset was spectacular!! I suggest it
We were there for the eclipse. The team has made great efforts to capture the specifics of the solar eclipse. So the departure was brought forward because the roads were closed afterwards and the boat tour was also a little longer than usual. It was a very nice experience.
Had an excellent time with Monica as our guide. Almost had to cancel the tour because of rain, but thankfully it cleared up. The sunset from the lagoon (not a lake!) Was lovely. Nature walk is not as extensive as it may appear from the description, so don't worry too much about that.
We had some rain but the tour guide kept us entertained till it passed so we could keep on with the tour. It was gorgeous.
Easy and fast purchase. Meeting point for the visit and communications were excellent. Italian guide was skilled and very informative. The sunset boat tour was excellent. Definitely a must-try.
Very pleasant and interesting tour.
The tour was great! Very easy pick up and drop-off, the ride was also very comfortable! Ferran, our guide, was great; very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very fun! I highly recommend the tour to see more of Valencia outside the city, and I also recommend Ferran as a tour guide!
Excellent, 100% recommended, I was with Alexandro and Ferrán on the solar eclipse tour, magnificent guides and very entertaining. They knew perfectly what they were talking about, always looking out for us. Managing the whole group, and mind you, we went to see the August solar eclipse and there were a lot of people. I think about 100 people, each one split the group and they managed it perfectly. They gave the instructions in both English and Spanish. A 10 out of 10 for both of them!!
My family had a great time on this tour of Albufera. Communication with company was unlike anything I've ever experienced. They made sure we knew exactly where the pick location was, and an employee was there waiting for everyone. Our tour guides Alessandro and Ferran were fun and informative. Just an overall amazing experience.
We came from Malaga to see the eclipse in its totality in the Albufera lake. It was an amazing experience, very well organised. Alessandro and Feran were super stars and took very good care of us. They were kind and patient and shared a lot of history with us. Would definitely try again for other type of excursions.
