Welcome to Akiba The first stop of the Akihabara tour is a retro video game store that is considered a treasure trove for game lovers, especially for those who grew up experiencing the rise of the Japanese video game industry. Here you can listen to the 8-bit video game keyboard music which you can hardly find anywhere else! Your guide will help you find and buy all the old fashion video game machines and disks. While the world is chasing after new games, it is also a good idea to look back to these old-time games that bring back the charm of our childhood memories.
maidreamin brings a playful "2.5D" maid-cafe experience—entrance fee, magic drink, and group photo are included!
Some gachapon It's been called the “holy land of gachapon” for 10 years! This amusement park is fun for kids and adults alike. You'll find everything from rare items to the latest releases, so you're sure to find what you're looking for...! About 50 new titles arrive every month, so you'll always find something fresh. We did not know what to expect as the information from the travel agency was sparse but we ended up having a fantastic time with Tadashi in Akihabara. It was exciting for everyone and he spent many hours with us, completely focused on our interests and wishes.
Very friendly guide who really knew a lot about the history of Akibahara, as well as everything about anime, manga and games. He first asked what our interests were and based on that adapted the tour to us. Certainly recommendable!

A nice tour of Akihabara. The guide was very knowledgeable and very helpful. She showed me a variety of spots and helped me with purchasing things and in explaining the different types of stores. I have no complaints.

The tour was a wonderful experience which showed multiple aspects of Akihabara. We started with viewing anime and game merchandise shops. After, we toured more historical areas featuring old technology equipment. The maid cafe was a great way to relax after wandering around for so long.
Nice, but a weird experience, guide friendly but poor command of english (pronuncation) and was honestly not really fit for this tour.
