I can't recall anything wrong with this tour. Communication was clear, the planning was detailed and the guide was prepared and very friendly. In the organization they took care of all our needs, from the pick up to when they took us to the following part of our trip. Shall I visit again Central Asia, I would surely ask for their help. The cost was absolutely appropriate.
I love to travel and do it as a Traveler, alone or at most as a couple, without rules, schedules and in complete freedom... for this reason I have always organized everything independently. I made only a couple of exceptions to this rule, one of them for my recent trip to Uzbekistan. I cared a lot about this trip, a jump in time and history on the Silk Road that meant so much to the development of the world at the time and in which my traveling companion and I wanted to completely immerse ourselves. For this reason we decided to rely on a local Tour operator, Doka, and Nodir in particular and with absolute awareness I can say that we could not make a more apt choice. For once at least I could completely relax not having to deal with anything (I definitely re-evaluated this aspect!!) because Nodir has thought of everything, sometimes preceding our own thoughts, introduced us to the secrets and millennial history of his country, made us know and see with our own eyes how far human stupidity and economic interest are capable of reaching, the destruction of Lake Aral, perhaps the greatest natural tragedy accomplished by man. We followed paths and met people that alone we would never have discovered, always accompanying everything with lightness and a smile, from the first to the last day, never intrusive even with its obviously constant presence. Unique cultural and historical preparation, Italian spoken superior to that of a large slice of those who were born in Italy, love our country almost as their own, perhaps that is also why immediately with him is like seeing a friend to whom we have always been linked. You can not get along and love him immediately!! I return from this journey, unique for the beauty of the cities, the colors, the beautiful humanity of the Uzbek people, enriched in the eyes in the head and soul. I can only thank Nodir and Doka for making this possible. We also thank the drivers, everyone, the bread lady of Khiva, all those who gave us attention and a smile not due, thank you very much. Hello uka, see you in Italy, we are waiting for you!!
