10/10 Birthday High Tea Cruise

We hired Popeye for my Grandma’s 90th Birthday. She wanted a cruise around Port river with a morning tea however the one she wanted doesn’t exist anymore and we then found Popeye on our search. They were so attentive and happy to respond to all our questions. On the day they made her feel so special giving her a shout out on the microphone, let her her sit in the captains seat with the captains hat she even felt so comfortable she was roaming around the boat chatting to everyone. The tea, coffee and scones were delicious, the whole experience was a solid 10/10 she had the most wonderful day. Massive thank you to the Popeye crew❤️

Relaxing Devonshire tea.

Found the directions to the venue a bit confusing. Google maps sending me to the wrong place. Luckily bumped into people doing the same cruise.

Wonderful relaxing cruise. Highly recommend going on it

We booked the cruise for the first day of our holiday in Adelaide. It was a great way to kick off our trip, as the cruise is very relaxing and the boat driver (sorry I have forgotten his name) was very knowledgeable about the history of Adelaide. The Devonshire morning tea was very generous with 2 large scones each, we ended up sharing a serve between us & keeping the other one for later. It was lovely to just cruise along the river and ease into our holiday. Would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about doing it. There were a couple of younger children on board & the boat driver got them to come up & blow the horn, they were smiling from ear to ear & their grandmother got some very happy pics.

Great

We had a lovely cruise, the captain shared so much of the local river history verbally but also through great old snapshots which were passed around the group as we cruised. Our Devonshire tea was beaut too as tge young captains mate. We would rate this a must do cruise while in Adelaide city area. 🌷🌷🌷

A well worthwhile, value for money, interesting and informative tour of Adelaide's history.

A beautiful cruise on the River Torrens. Excellent skipper in Tom and and Anastasia did and equally excellent job being deckhand. The commentary was insightful and entertaining. The morning tea was delicious and they catered to our gluten free diet. Couldn't fault the weather, we were very lucky. Value for money.

Pleasant boat tour, lovely area.

The narrative was really good, good sense of humour and very informative. We booked in advance and had tea and scones, which were very nice. The weather cooperated, not raining, lovely day if a bit windy.

It was a pleasant way to spend an hour, though I thought that it might have gone further down the river. The scones were large and yummy one box between two was more than enough.
