It was a last minute decision to book the tour for next day. And I am glad I did it. the pick to drop was in time and communication regarding same crisp. Best was the two friends ( who came as guide) for the day. Yoki and Atnatewos were great. This short, personalised tour is strongly suggested if you have a day / or few hours to spend in Addis.
Michael was absolutely amazing! From beginning to end, he made my experience in Ethiopia unforgettable. He was knowledgeable, patient, professional, and genuinely kind. He made me feel comfortable and welcomed while showing me the beauty, culture, history, and hidden gems of Ethiopia. What really stood out was how attentive Michael was. He didn’t make the experience feel like just another tour—he made it feel personal. He answered all of my questions, made sure I was comfortable, and went above and beyond to make sure I had an incredible time. Having a great guide can completely change the way you experience a country, and Michael definitely did that for me. I left Ethiopia with beautiful memories, amazing photos, and an even greater appreciation for the country and its people. Even with mobility issues this trip was still possible. Thank you If you’re visiting Ethiopia and have the opportunity to book Michael as your guide, DO IT! You will be in great hands. I would recommend him without hesitation and would absolutely book with him again. 🇪🇹❤️ Thank you, Michael, for making my trip so special!
Had a great time with Smith and Mike! Super friendly and knowledgeable guides. Highly recommend
Very knowledgeable and friendly guide and driver. I highly recommend them. They are very flexible and willing to customize the tour to fit the guest preferences.
The Guys were super reliable, friendly and knowledgeable. They did a great job to show us around Addis during our layover. Highly recommend
Thank you so much for your kind review! We're delighted that our team helped make the most of your layover in Addis Ababa. It means a lot to hear that you found us reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back to Ethiopia again soon!
We had an early evening excursion time due to our layover so certain places were closed. However, Athnatios and Yonas still made sure we had a good time. We absolutely enjoyed this excursion. We got to see the first church of Ethiopia and take in all the history, we went to the highest point of the city for stunning views (better than the views from the empire state building), and we tried some good local cuisine. They were so knowledgeable and just fun to be around. I only wish we had more time. Book this tour!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted that Atnatewos and Yonas made the most of your layover and created a memorable experience despite the evening timing. It's great to hear you enjoyed the history, stunning views, and local cuisine. We'll be sure to share your kind words with them. Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back to Ethiopia for a longer visit soon!
We missed our connecting flights to Cairo and end up spending 24 hours here in the capital unexpectedly but, made the most of it! Lucky to find Joe our tour guide and it was perfect 5-hour tour of the highlight of the city that ended up making this unplanned stop creat great memories! Joe had grood positive energy and was very proud of his City, his country and culture. It was a unique experience to go to the market.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! While we're sorry your travel plans changed unexpectedly, we're so happy Joe could turn your extra time in Addis Ababa into a memorable experience. It's wonderful to hear you enjoyed the city's highlights, the vibrant market, and Joe's passion for sharing Ethiopia. We hope your next visit is a planned one, and we'd love to welcome you back!
Mike was brilliant. It honestly felt less like a tour and more like spending the day with a friend who knows the city really well. He showed me all the main sights but what I liked most was that he tailored the day around what was happening in Addis, making sure we caught some special events that we would have otherwise missed. Nothing felt rushed or like a scripted tour. He’s a genuinely great guy, easy to chat to, knowledgeable, and made the whole day really enjoyable. If you’re looking for a guide in Addis Ababa, I’d highly recommend Mike.
