The tour with Elias brought us closer to Ethiopia. The coffee ceremony, the mercato visit (they recycle everything!!), great lunch, the Lucy museum and the Holy Trinity church were embedded in a tour by car and Elias’ continuous flow of very interesting background information about the country and the people. Highly recommended!

I took advantage of my 12-hour layover in Addis Ababa by booking a city tour, complete with airport pickup and drop-off. Elias was a phenomenal guide. This tour with Elias was fantastic. I spent the previous day walking around the city but the tour with Elias greatly facilitated a deeper dive into more of Addis Ababa than the “guidebook” experience. I highly recommend this tour and guide if you want to really experience the city.

We spent the day in Addis with Elias and were thrilled! He has extensive knowledge of Ethiopian history and we learned much. We enjoyed the tour through the market the most; being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle and among the locals, that’s what we love. We were traveling with three children (aged 6, 10, and 12) and can wholeheartedly recommend Elias.

Elias is a great guide! He took us to all the places locals go and gave us the opportunity to see how locals live especially when he took us to the coffee shop and the market. He speaks very good English and gave very clear explanation. I would highly recommend joining this tour! We had an amazing day!
