I had an absolutely unforgettable experience exploring Addis Ababa with Teddy and Alex! 🇪🇹❤️ This was so much more than a sightseeing tour it was an informative, educational, and exciting journey through Ethiopian history, culture, adventure, local food, coffee, and everyday life. One of the highlights was Mount Entoto, the highest point in Addis Ababa, where the breathtaking panoramic views combine the vibrant city with the beautiful surrounding countryside. Standing there and learning about Emperor Menelik II, the history of Addis Ababa, and the cultural importance of Entoto was fascinating. Teddy explained everything so clearly and made the history easy to understand and genuinely interesting. The adventure continued at Mercato, where I experienced the real everyday life of Addis Ababa. Walking through the bustling market, seeing local traders, discovering traditional products, interacting with people, and learning how the market functions gave me a fascinating insight into daily Ethiopian life. It was lively, authentic, and full of unforgettable moments. I also visited Tomoca Coffee in Piazza, one of Addis Ababa’s historic coffee institutions. I learned so much about Ethiopia’s famous coffee culture, purchased freshly roasted Ethiopian coffee beans, and enjoyed an authentic coffee experience. The information about Ethiopian coffee, its traditions, and its importance in everyday life was incredibly interesting. I also had the opportunity to try a local Ethiopian breakfast with the locals, interact with people, and experience everyday life from a truly local perspective. These experiences made the tour feel authentic and educational rather than simply visiting tourist attractions. What impressed me most was how flexible and completely customizable the experience was. Teddy and Alex never rushed me or pressured me to move to the next stop. I could take my time, ask questions, take photos, interact with locals, or spend longer at places that interested me. Everything was organized around what I wanted to experience. Teddy was an extremely informative, knowledgeable, professional, and well-trained guide. He shared fascinating stories about Ethiopian history, culture, traditions, food, coffee, and daily life. He was patient, friendly, and always happy to answer my questions. Alex was an excellent and highly skilled driver. His driving was smooth, careful, professional, and reassuring. I always felt safe and comfortable on the road. The vehicle was brand new, exceptionally clean, spacious, comfortable, and fully air-conditioned, which made the entire experience even better. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe, respected, and very well taken care of from beginning to end. Teddy and Alex were kind, attentive, professional, and genuinely passionate about showing me the real Addis Ababa. This tour gave me everything I hoped for: history, adventure, culture, breathtaking views, local food, Ethiopian coffee, Mercato, and authentic everyday life. Most importantly, I learned so much along the way. I strongly recommend this experience to solo travelers, solo female travelers, first-time visitors to Ethiopia, or anyone looking for a safe, informative, flexible, and authentic introduction to Addis Ababa. Ask for Teddy and Alex you will be in excellent hands! 🇪🇹✨ I came as a traveler and left with unforgettable memories, a deeper understanding of Ethiopian history and culture, and a huge appreciation for the people and everyday life of Addis Ababa. Absolutely fantastic, informative, educational, and full of adventure from beginning to end! ❤️

Yonas and teddy were amazing. We were in Addis for a short stop and I had booked the day before the trip. From the moment I booked I had messaged them to coordinate and they already were expecting me and were able to accommodate our schedule. Their tour of the city was fantastic - they have so much knowledge and were able to present it in a fun way. They also took us to some local markets to buy stuff and helped us secure the best deals. They’re truly amazing and could not have asked for anything better. If you’re coming to Ethiopia and not booking a tour through them you’re seriously missing out!!

I had a short layover in Addis Ababa and didn’t want to just sit around the airport, so I booked a tour with Teddy and Yonas — best decision I made on the whole trip! In about four hours, they managed to show me everything important the city has to offer, and I left feeling like I’d actually experienced Addis Ababa instead of just passing through it. Both guides were incredibly personable and friendly, and it was clear they genuinely love sharing their city with visitors. They were also very knowledgeable, offering great historical and cultural context at every stop, which made the tour feel rich and meaningful rather than rushed, even with the time constraint. I’m from Canada, and this was easily one of the best layover experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re passing through Addis Ababa and have a few hours to spare, I can’t recommend Teddy and Yonas enough. They made the most of my limited time and turned a simple layover into a real highlight of my trip.
