A virtual walk in medieval Bologna

We didn't really know what to expect but arrived at the address on the ticket to be told it wasn't opening at that address until Monday and the lady kindly took us to the old address. New place will be easier to find near the 2 towers. The VR sets were cleaned and fitted. We were given clear instructions. We wandered through the medieval streets of Bologna and had a birds eye view flying over the city.

We were there as a family of five (children 16, 13, 10). Everyone loved it. Entertaining VR tour of old Bologna.

The virtual tour is not particularly excellent. we were a little disappointed. the idea is also good but the service needs to be updated with new and better graphically defined videos.

After walking through medieval Bologna for a while, the program switched to "flight mode" so that we could fly over and along the towers.

The VR tour of medeival Bologna was great; very well done. Enjoyable (even for a 58-year-old like me, and I'm sure kids would appreciate it even more) and informative. Choose the longer version (25 minutes). Note that the same experience is also available at the Museum of the History of Bologna (for a higher charge I believe as it includes entrance to the whole museum). Note: At the latter location there are also experiences about the Roman era and 18th century (canals) in the city. I did these too (at extra charge) and would recommend them (the short versions) somewhat, in the aforementioned order. Returning to this attraction -- the Time Machine museum -- it also has a show called "Dante's Inferno" which was sort of grisly but entertaining enough. (I'd choose the short version.) Note: This museum is very small, centrally located near the main tower.

A fun, interesting and at the same time cultural experience. A different way of looking at history. Highly, highly recommended

Great expectation, 36 euros in two, and in the end it's just a simulator with a very poor resolution. Not recommended, better a good plate of tortellini at the restaurant next door. Wasted opportunity

An extraordinary virtual experience that exceeds all expectations both for the settings of everyday life in medieval Bologna, reconstructed on the basis of serious historical research, and for the engaging identification for those who access this augmented reality. At the ticket office Giuseppe welcomes and directs with exhaustive information on the possibilities offered by the museum of Palazzo Piepoli. Very engaging and fun experience for both adults and children. The virtual tour in medieval Bologna (piazza Santo Stefano, piazza di Porta Ravegnana, the two towers and Strada Maggiore), with explanations of the inhabitants of the time, arts and crafts, curiosities and historical hints, is very interesting and instructive. Super exciting and suggestive the overflight of the city! Thanks to the guys, very kind and professional. Super recommended! We will be back soon to try the other experiences.

A really interesting experience! Walking in medieval Bologna and meeting characters of the time is pleasant and instructive! Amazing flight between the towers!!! With the guys we had the short (and really affordable) experience, but came back the next day to experience the full version. To do!
