A Turtle Tour on Rarotonga, 4 Aug 2026
It only goes at certain times of day. Your US phone may not work here. 4 Aug is a holiday, shops shut

Thanks for your review. I just want to clarify what happened. You booked at 9am and requested an 11am tour. I explained that our turtle tours run around the low tide, as the tide and weather conditions can be dangerous. You were unhappy that we couldn’t offer the 11am time. August 4 was a public holiday, but we did have a 7am tour available that morning, as well as an 8am tour the following day. Unfortunately, those times didn’t work for you.
Normally, when a guest has an issue with a booking, I will do my best to work with them and, where possible, help them request a refund through Viator/Tripadvisor. However, as the booking was made through them, any refund would need to go through their platform, and at this point there is very little I can do from our side. I’m sorry the timing didn’t work for you, but we did explain how our tour times operate and did have alternative times available. Kind regards, Alana

The most amazing experience with the best people
This was the most incredible experience for our family and friends. We did the private tour as there was 10 of us, and the guides were exceptional, friendly, informative, supportive and made the whole experience completely memorable. We saw many turtles up close, and even got to swim over a pod of eagle rays which was incredible. Alana helped with our whole booking experience and set up and then provided us with a full set of amazing photos taken by our guides on the day. This was a highlight of our Rarotonga trip. I would definitely recommend this group for your turtle experience.

Best swim with the turtles
The tour as a small group was amazing. We were very well looked after by all our guides. We saw heaps of turtles and even a mass of eagle rays. Outstanding.

Turtles at your finger tips!
Brendan was a fantastic guide. If you want an intimate experience and to get up close and personal with turtles you can't go past this experience. Turtles were swimming right in front of us! An amazing experience.

Safe and well worth it
This was an awesome experience. Small group of 6 with lots of safety procedures in place. Saw lots of turtles. Gear was great. Instructions clear.

Best Turtle experience on the island
All turtle expeditions on the island are in the same area. This group limits the group to 10 people and is the best. The current is very strong and with a larger group I don't see how they ensure everyone sees the turtles and other sea life or how the get everyone back to shore,

Fun and exhilarating tour
The Turtle Tour was exhilarating and enchanting. The guides were very informative and supportive, showing the group the best places on the reef to observe the sea life. Since I haven’t snorkeled in decades, I am grateful to the staff who gave me & others special attention by towing me around the reef to show me more turtles!
