Murano and Burano are 2 must dos when you are in Venice for more than 24 hours. They are two fantastically quiet places where you can escape the hustle and bustle of Venice itself. Attending the glass blowing was also a real added value for us. In addition, there are a lot of restaurants on Murano and more to rest. Burano is our personal favorite. There is a lot to do here, from shops to restaurants and beautiful homes this is a little paradise. We booked through Get Your Guide & only had 1.5 hours time per island. Which means you should put some haste behind your visit. We have nothing else to say about this.
The tour was expensive when you could get public waterbus to each island visited and spend time rather than being rushed With the aid of chat gpt you would get as much information as the ‘guide’ The islands are well worth visiting but don’t under your own steam
