Excellent guide, lovely tour

This was a very well-organized tour. I appreciated the radio system that allowed us to hear the guide easily. Nothing worse than paying for a guide and not being able to hear clearly through an old intercom system or over other participants' voices. The length of the tour was just right for a hot day.

Excellent Guide — Irene Irene was an amazing guide for our tour of Murano and Burano. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history and culture of both islands. She explained everything clearly, made the tour very enjoyable, and shared many interesting details that we would have never discovered on our own. She was also very attentive and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the experience. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend Irene to anyone visiting Venice. She made our experience in Murano and Burano truly memorable!

We really enjoyed our Murano & Burano semi-private tour, and a big part of what made the experience so enjoyable was our guide, Dalila. From the beginning, Dalila gave us a great overview of the day, along with plenty of interesting information about the history of Venice and the different islands we visited and passed along the way in the water taxi. Murano was fascinating. The glass-blowing demonstrations were incredibly skilful and impressive to watch, although we were genuinely a little sad to see the beautiful dolphin and cat created during the demonstration being put back into the kiln at the end! The showroom afterwards was filled with beautiful pieces, and we managed to find a few lovely items to take home with us. Burano was equally memorable. The colourful houses lining the canals are beautiful and provide endless opportunities for photographs. The lace-making demonstration was interesting and informative, and once again there was plenty of opportunity to browse and pick up a few souvenirs. What really stood out, though, was Dalila herself. During the trip my wife began feeling unwell, and Dalila was extremely attentive and helpful. She quickly arranged a solution that allowed us to continue enjoying the tour without inconveniencing any of our fellow travellers. We really appreciated the way she handled the situation. Dalila was friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely caring throughout the day. Her English is also excellent, despite the fact that she kept apologising for it! We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Venice, and if you are lucky enough to have Dalila as your guide, you will be in very good hands.
