What can you say? Words really fail us. The three of us (“Baba”, “Kaka” and “Dada”) had a truly unique travel experience across the three national parks Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, but there was so incredibly much more to see and experience beyond that 🤩. All of this was made possible by a fantastic team — starting with Ally on the organizational side and brought to life by Joseph, our guide and driver. He brought a wealth of experience — 20 years of it — along with eagle eyes (even while driving!), the knack for finding great photo spots amidst the crowds, a wonderful sense of humor, and even Kiswahili lessons. And the icing on the cake was Lewis, our chef — aka “Mr. Delicious” — who, despite his youth, spoiled us morning, noon, and night with fantastic, freshly prepared meals; so many 'Lecker-Schmeckers'. And the way the team managed to have an elephant wander into our tent camp at 5:30 in the morning... simply amazing 😉. A huge thank you once again, especially to Joseph and Lewis — a fantastic team. And the singing together in the car was unforgettable (you two know exactly what I mean...). Asante sana!

We had an amazing experience with our incredible guide Joseph! Thanks to our guide, who has a very good eye to see animals. From planning to the actual safari, everything went smoothly and staying in the tent in the national park was also a unique experience. We definitely made unforgettable memories in Africa! :)

We started as a couple with Joseph and took wonderful impressions and photos from Tarangire National Park on the first day. In very bad road conditions - it was rainy season with huge mud holes, Joseph proved his driving skills and looked after us humorously. The brought picnic was very delicious and we were provided with dishes and everything by him. The food came from the same restaurant where we stopped and stayed in the evening. An outstanding chef who also prepared us for the next day's picnic box when we drove into Ngorongoro Crater. There the lions lay directly at our jeep, herds of elephants and wildebeest crossed the road in front of us, Thomson antelopes, ostriches, rhinoceros and hippos we saw. A great experience, well prepared and professional support. A huge thank you, A sante sana, to Joseph our driver and guide.

It was a great tour creating unforgetable memories. We saw a lot of animals in an amazing landscape. Our guides were experiences and knew perfectly the good places to see the animals. We felt always comfortable, getting information about the animals from the friendly guides. The cook, Joaquin, made very good dishes, excellent. Great safari. The guide Joseph very interesting and friendly, the manager Ally very responsive and friendly. The 3 parks: taranguire, serengeti and Ngorongoro are simply amazing to see animals up close 🤩 100% recommended. Can't wait to go on a safari again

My family and I went on a safari to Serengeti passing Lake Manyara and later Lake Natron with our guide Joseph, one of Ally's amazing team members who guided us with a lot of skill, fun and kindness through the amazing nature, rough roads and breathtaking landscapes. These days were among our highlights of our family-trip to Tanzania for sure! My whole family fit into the car (7 people) and we could all stand up comfortably during game drives, looking for lions, elephants, leopards, pumbas, ... and experience it all so closely. The roof of the safari car can be put up so you have an even better view and adventerous feeling while being on your journey. Joseph always listened to our wishes and drove really well while at the same time spotting every animal one could wish to see. We really were one group having a lot of fun, not just customers sent off to Safari. We will never forget this experience and can only say asante sana again for the best service, trustworthy management and easy, fast, and personalized organisation of this trip. 100/10!!!

Ally put together a fantastic safari package for us (Arusha, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara) and then sent us off on our journey with Joseph, quite simply the best guide imaginable. Joseph is a wonderful person. He always has an answer to every question, remains calm at all times, and is always up for a good joke! With his many years of experience, he doesn’t race blindly through the parks just to reach a lion reported over the radio. Instead, he knows exactly where and how to track animals — nothing escapes his eagle eye. During our time together, we had many great conversations and learned a lot from him about the country, wildlife, culture and language. We were cooked for and looked after by Chef Lowassa, who repeatedly surprised us at even the most remote campsites with excellent breakfasts, three-course dinners and generous lunches — all served on proper tableware and with a tablecloth.

Our 5-day safari was simply extraordinary and will be remembered for a lifetime. Our guide Joseph brings over 20 years of professional experience and has an impressively wide-ranging knowledge of nature, animals and culture, which he imparts with a lot of humor and heart. You immediately feel his passion and joy for the profession. He is also an excellent, very safe driver – we felt in good hands at all times. The nature was breathtaking, the wildlife observations unique and the experiences simply priceless. The safari was individually planned according to our wishes, with great support from Ally, who responded to all our preferences and really made everything possible. The service was professional, cordial and perfectly organized from start to finish. Greatest recommendation – we would book this safari again anytime

We were on a 4 day safari in Serengeti and Ngrorongoro and were really happy with this organization! It was crazy to see that the guide (Hebron) we had did everything he could to make our time as comfortable and nice as possible, a really accommodating guy that could also answer every question we had about Tanzanian nature and culture. I was on another Safari with a different organization and was therefore able to see the difference that a good organization and kind guides can make. I can only say you cannot take this quality for granted! This is probably also because Making Memories in Africa is a local company and the guides are still personally picked. The chef (Joaquin aka Mr. Delicious) that came with was also crazy good! He really lived up to his name:D My girlfriend is vegan and even though this is not really a thing in Tanzania, the chef went out his way and loved to cook vegan meals 3 times a day for her, with extra meat next to it for the rest of us. He even made vegan pancakes! We were all around very content and can only recommend this company and the guide/chef, that were smiling 24 hours a day! P.S. I also did a Kilimanjaro climb with this company and everything was perfect there, too!

An unforgettable memory! Our safari was an incredible experience from start to finish. Samuel, our guide, was exceptional: very attentive, always in a good mood and with an impressive knowledge of all the animals of the savannah. Joseph, our driver, also deserves a special mention: real eagle eyes! He spotted animals with the naked eye as I struggled to see them with my binoculars. And what about the cook? A real leader! His dishes made every lunch break as tasty as it was enjoyable. A top team for a trip I will never forget.
