Best tour EVER, everything was amazing! We choose Tripperhood tour 3 days between Ijen and Bromo as part of our honeymoon.. well, we couldn't do a better choice! The guys were amazing, so kind and nice, the best guides ever! Mount Ijen left us astonished. The landscapes and the experience seeing the blu fires is something we will never forget. The team found as a local guide, a previous miner, that brought us in the best spots for watching the fires before a lot of people arrived and the amazing sunrise from the top! Second part was watching the sunrise from Bromo. The place was full of tourist but they found for us one of the best view point to see the sunrise on mount Bromo and the caldera, all alone, without anyone around!!! Simply incredible! Last day we could also enjoy Madakaripura waterfalls.. a waterfall of 200 meters of height.. no words to describe the scenario, it was stunning. Places and landscapes were something we never saw before and we will never forget. But what we will also remember is the kindness of the Tripperhood team...always ready to help us, to check if everything was good, provide us water, breakfast and whatever we might need... Thank you for all, we cannot say enough how much we appreciate it! We totally recommend Tripperhood! It's the best choice you can do for your trip!

We booked the 3D2N Ijen, Bromo & Waterfalls tour with Tripperhood, and the whole experience was fantastic from beginning to end. Our guide, Ayub, and our driver, Ivan, were absolutely wonderful. From the very first moment, they made us feel comfortable, welcome and completely at ease. Ayub was always friendly, attentive and flexible, constantly checking that everything was going well and always open to whatever we needed or wanted to adjust along the way. Ivan was equally great — professional, calm, reliable and a very safe driver throughout the trip. What really stood out was their experience in the area. They always knew where to go, where the best viewpoints were and how to make each stop as enjoyable as possible. They clearly know the region extremely well and used that knowledge to make the whole experience feel smooth and effortless. Even during the very early morning at Bromo, they made sure we were comfortable and prepared, and we did not even end up feeling cold. During our visit, Ijen was temporarily closed because of the fires, but Tripperhood and Ayub handled the situation brilliantly. They reacted quickly and offered us several alternative options so that the day would still be special. In the end, we chose a fantastic visit to coffee and rubber plantations, where we learned about the production process, saw how everything was made, discovered more about luwak coffee, met the animal itself and, of course, had the chance to taste the coffee. It turned out to be a really interesting and memorable experience. The rest of the tour was equally amazing. Bromo at sunrise was unforgettable, and the waterfalls were also a beautiful part of the experience. Everything was very well organized, all the transfers ran smoothly, and at the same time the trip never felt rigid or rushed. What made the biggest difference for us was the personal attention. Ayub genuinely cared about making sure we enjoyed every part of the journey, and both he and Ivan were always approachable, helpful and kind. They made us feel very well looked after without ever being intrusive. Overall, this was an excellent experience with Tripperhood, and we are very grateful to Ayub and Ivan for making our trip through East Java so enjoyable and memorable. We would absolutely recommend Tripperhood, and especially Ayub and Ivan, to anyone planning a tour of Ijen, Bromo and the surrounding area. Thank you both for everything!

Our experience with Tripperhood was truly amazing. The team organised everything for us including pickup, transport and drop off. Our guide Ririn was very knowledgeable and friendly and always did everything to help us. Our driver Chandra was also great and made our journeys feel very comfortable. I will definitely recommend Tripperhood to my friends.

We had a great time. Ayub has been a great guide and the driver Mr. Kosim very professional. Both very kind.

Everything perfect, except for the hostel at the foot of Mount Bromo, terrible. Everyone judges it good because it is actually at the foot of the mountain, but in my opinion it is terrible, so much so that I changed it and Ririn, our guide, in contact with the agency, promptly accommodated us.

We had 3 wonderful days on Java thanks to our guide Ririn and our driver Kosim! 😊 We didn't have to worry about anything, everything was perfectly planned and organized. For the Bromo tour, Ririn recommended that we go to the volcano first and then to the well-known viewpoint, otherwise we would have been stuck in traffic for hours. As it turned out, that was exactly the right decision; we were practically alone at sunrise and thus escaped the crowds. Ririn also took numerous photos and videos of us and made them available for us to download for free afterwards! 😊 We only have one small point of criticism: Unfortunately, we were not sufficiently informed at the time of booking that you currently cannot see the Blue Fire at Ijen. Had we known that beforehand, we might have changed our plans. Nonetheless, we can recommend Tripperhood without reservation. Thanks again to Ririn and Kosim for the great days! 😊

I will never, ever be able to forget this experience!! Sam Yung made all of this so beautiful and memorable... From the hotel pickup in Surabaya to the return to the port, he organized these 3 days in an absolutely perfect way!! Beautiful hotels. He was very close to us but without being intrusive!! Seeing the sunrise from Mount Bromo and from Ijen were two experiences that we will never forget, and they made all of this possible. I organized everything via WhatsApp from Italy, and their responses were always timely and comprehensive!! I absolutely recommend them if you want to have a fantastic experience without having to worry about anything at all!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We did the 3-day, 2-night Bromo–Ijen tour with Tripperhood and had such a fantastic experience! Our guide, Sam Yung, was brilliant throughout — friendly, knowledgeable and always making sure everything ran smoothly. Our private driver was also lovely and made travelling between each stop comfortable and easy. The whole tour was really well organised, with all the timings working perfectly and everything taken care of for us. The local guides were great too — a special shoutout to Ari at Ijen, who was amazing and even made a video of our experience for us! We would highly recommend Tripperhood to anyone wanting to explore East Java. Great value for money and the perfect way to experience both Bromo and Ijen without having to worry about any of the logistics. We had an amazing time!
