Enjoy a rainforest walk and visit a Totem Park on our 3 hour excursion in scenic Ketchikan, Alaska on this small group tour with local guide. Explore the lush green rainforest of Alaska among huge old growth trees and moss blanketing the forest floor. The remote nature trail follows a cascading creek and we stop at a beautiful waterfall viewing area. The trail does have several sets of stairs and uphill / downhill portions. Experience natures beauty up close and step into this treasured land on our approximately 1.5 mile hike. Escape the crowds and take in the fresh air and peacefulness of the forest. We also journey to the Totem Park where your local guide will share stories behind the majestic totem poles and the Alaska Native culture with you. Our excursions are small groups of 11 guests or less and we include pick up at the cruise ship dock. Wild Wolf Tours is a local family owned business and we love to share our beautiful surroundings with you.

Potlatch Totem Park
Journey to Totem Park where your local guide will share stories behind the magnificently carved totem poles. Step into a Clan House as guide explains about the local native culture. This small group experience is a wonderful way to learn about the Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian people.
Settlers Cove State Recreational Site
Rainforest walk among old growth trees and moss blanketed forest. Walk along cascading creek and stop at a beautiful waterfall viewing area on this nature trail. Local guide will point out the flora and how these resources were vital to the Alaska Natives. There are some stairs and uphill downhill portions of the trail. We do offer a 2 hour tour without any stairs as well.

Had an excellent tour...
Had an excellent tour with our guide, Patrick. Very knowledgeable about the area, the rainforest, and the mushrooms and berries along the trailer. I would highly recommend Wild Wolf to others.

Fantastic tour!
We loved this tour and Brock was a fantastic guide! His knowledge of the rain forest was amazing, he took the time to explain everything, and answered the ton of questions we had. We saw a bear looking for salmon and seals bobbing in the water. The totem park was great and the information Brock provided and stories he told enhanced our visit! It was truly a great experience. Be sure to request Brock if you take this tour!

Nice tour with a great guide
In a small group of 9 people, we visited the rainforest. The forest itself, the view from the beach into the Alaskan wilderness, and then observing a black bear from up close—an overall magnificent experience. Our authentic guide Brock Goodrick knew every plant in the forest and also conveyed tons of information about the land and its people with its unique characteristics. We were thrilled and can only recommend this offer.

Best Wilderness Tour
Patrick was amazing!!!. Highly recommend this tour. We saw a mama bear fishing in the wild for her babies and so much more of the wild side of Alaska.

Great Nature Tour By A Local
What we enjoyed about this tour was our guide Kevin. His Knowledge of trees and plants along the trail and his love of nature made it a great tour. The totem park was also interesting. Plus he is a local and knew a lot about past and current events in Ketchikan. I plan on doing this tour again next year with some of my family.

A wonderful and leisure...
A wonderful and leisure stroll through the Lunch Creek Trail. Saw multiple kinds of old growth tree, waterfall, beach, creek with spawning salmons and even a close up encounter of a mama bear looking for salmon. The Potlach Park had multiple beautiful interesting totem poles and recreated native buildings. 3 hours of touring just flew by. Our guide Kevin was fantastic, full of first hand knowledge and a good sense of humor.

Memorable experience.
Great tour and great guide. We were fortunate in that the rain held off and we were able to see a momma bear with her cub hunting for salmon. Memorable experience.

This was a walk thru the...
This was a walk thru the rainforest and Potlatch Park with our tour guide Kevin. He was an amazing guide, incredibly knowledgable and full of stories about the trees and the Native Americans of the area. We would rate this as one of the best tour experiences we've had. Absolutely fantastic.
