Important Information
Suitable for all physical fitness levels
What to bring: Warm outdoor clothing, a waterproof jacket and pants, head wear, and gloves. Good hiking shoes are recommended.
The order of the itinerary might change due to weather conditions. Your guide will have full power to make amendments to the itinerary when necessary.
Minimum age is 8 years old
This tour has the flexibility to make the most of the seasonal changes such as changes in weather and conditions. During the summer Iceland is characterized by energizing bright nights and midnight sun. Between August and May, if the forecast is suitable, you might even be able to spot the magical show put on by the Northern Lights. It is important to note that a guided Northern Lights hunt is however not included in the tour. Other wonderful and interesting possibilities can also come up during your south coast tour with us as Iceland is full of surprises.
We use a couple of different ice caves for our 3 Day Golden Circle & South Coast tour. Ice caves are ever-changing and unpredictable natural phenomena. We usually visit the Crystal Cave at Breiðmerkurjökull during this tour but when the Crystal Cave is inaccessible we will most likely visit Katla Ice Cave. Which ice cave is chosen will however always depend upon the conditions and safety considerations on the day, sometimes a different ice cave will be visited. If conditions do not allow us to visit an ice cave a glacier hike will be offered as an alternative.
Solo travelers who do not select the single supplement will be accommodated in a shared twin room with another participant of the same gender.
You can take your day backpack and one piece of luggage weighing a maximum of 20 kg (44 lbs) on this tour. The combined dimensions of each bag must not exceed 158 cm (62 in). Luggage storage services can be purchased as an optional extra for a small fee.

Great 3-Day Tour of Iceland South Coast
Our guide, Hjalti Por Bjorneson was very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour of the Iceland south coast area filled with excellent activities all three days. First day pickup was one hour late though so that aspect only rated 2 out of 5.
Operator response
Hi Bruce, thanks for the detail. Three days of great touring with a knowledgeable guide is good to hear. The one-hour late pickup on day one is fair feedback and we've passed it along to the team.

3 days on Golden Circle
Hjalti has been a good guide. I used GEMINI AI to check many of his facts, and most everything checked out. This tour is a lot to take in in only 3 days. Not a bad thing, there is just a lot to see.
Operator response
Hi there, thanks for this. AI-verified accuracy from a guide is a new benchmark and we're glad ours held up. Three days is packed by design, glad it was a lot in the best way.

Excellent small group tor! Go as many days as you can!
What a wonderful time seeing a beautiful country and learning about the geology, history, and culture. Hjalti was an excellent guide. Loved getting to know him and the other people on our small group tour.
Operator response
Hi there, getting to know the guide and the group over three days is the part a day tour can't give you. That's the argument for the multi-day format right there. Glad the country and the company both came through.

Nice experience and Nice guide
The experience is very rich and comprehensive for south coast. Hjalti is a very responsible and nice guide to have, very welcoming. The weather in Iceland is quite unpredictable and would bring different experience but the overall tour is nice. I like the ice cave and the ice lagoon the most.
Operator response
Hi Emily, glad the tour felt rich and comprehensive. The South Coast has so much packed into it that three days is really the minimum to do it justice. The ice cave and lagoon being your favorites is Iceland's showstoppers doing their thing.

Beautiful views
Great tour, beautiful scenery!! Our guide Hjalti was great!
Operator response
Hi there, glad the three days were worth it. When the scenery is that beautiful and the guide matches it, there's not much more a tour needs to deliver.

Going Back to Iceland for Arctic Adventures
The tour was phenomenal . Our guide gave us just the right amount of time at every stop, made a few extra stops, and was genuinely just amazing!! My friend and I missed our tour group as soon as we got off the bus.
Operator response
Hi Madison, missing the group as soon as you step off the bus is the sign of three days well spent together. Extra stops and perfect timing at each one is a guide who's thinking about the day, not just following it. Glad it earned a return trip, we will be waiting :)

Outstanding Iceland group tour with a great guide
This Iceland group tour was absolutely amazing, with breathtaking and stunning natural scenery everywhere. We would especially like to thank our guide, Hjald Þór Björnsson. He is a very patient and friendly gentleman. Throughout the trip, he gave us detailed introductions to every attraction, sharing local geography, history and interesting facts. He flexibly adjusted the itinerary according to real‑time weather, road conditions and timing. No matter what questions we raised, he always answered them thoughtfully and thoroughly. Thanks to his professional and thoughtful arrangements, we had a near‑perfect experience in Iceland. 100 out of 100 points, highly recommended!
Operator response
Hi there, thanks for this. A patient, flexible guide who adjusts for weather and conditions in real time is what keeps a three-day tour running smoothly even when Iceland has other plans. Glad the experience earned 100 out of 100.
