2-Day Mount Toubkal Climb from Marrakech

We did the 2-day Mount Toubkal trek as a private tour with a large group, and the team at Toubkal Trekking did an excellent job of adapting the organisation specifically to our needs. We were accompanied by excellent local guides who were not only very experienced and capable in the mountains, but also incredibly knowledgeable about the area, local life, culture and all the interesting things. What impressed us most was their patience and understanding towards our group. They were always attentive, supportive and ready to adjust the pace when necessary, without ever making us feel rushed. The climb itself is not technically demanding, but it is a long and physically demanding day, so a reasonable level of fitness and some previous mountain experience are certainly recommended. The altitude should also be taken seriously. For anyone who enjoys hiking and is looking for the adventure of reaching a new summit, I would definitely recommend getting in touch with Toubkal Trekking. Their organisation and guiding were very professional, while at the same time they made the whole experience feel surprisingly simple and almost effortless for us. We booked a hike from Imlil to the Azzaden remote lodge through the Kasbah du Toubkal. It was a magnificent experience even if tiring because we chose a long route. Our guide Mohamed, along with the cook and the mule driver, pampered and helped us. The lodge in Azzaden is very beautiful and we felt at home. I recommend this wonderful experience to everyone.

Would thoroughly recommend: we travelled as two friends and Toubkal Trekking provided everything we needed for our three-day trek to the top of Mount Toubkal. The guide was enthusiastic, judging our pace, giving advice and second-guessing our needs, and the cook was absolutely brilliant: the food was amazing. And the overall organisation - from pick-up in Marrakesh to making sure we got to where we needed afterwards - was spot on. If you want to tackle Toubkal, I'd go with Toubkal Trekking.

This was an amazing trip. From the moment we were picked up in Marrakech until we were dropped off again, Mustapha had everything very well organised. Youness was a fantastic guide and good company throughout the trip. Food was great also. Would highly recommend climbing Toubkal... its a a 4000m peak which can be done in a short trip with all the attractions of Marrakech to finish. Its a tough slog up but no technical skills required. Would also highly recommend Toubkal Trekking and I'll definitely use them again.

Initially, we had planned a 4-day tour including the ascent of Mount Toubkal. Due to a misunderstanding, we had to change the plan a bit at the last minute. Mustapha handled the issue with kindness and improved communication, making sure everyone was happy. Our guide, Nordin, was fantastic, skilled and calm. Although we couldn't reach the summit because of bad weather, the experience was still very enjoyable, and I would definitely recommend it. A good tour operator.

Amazing walking and amazing views. The food was really delicious. The trip was well organised and there was excellent communication with Mustapha in the run up to the walk. They were also flexible in accommodating changes to planned schedule.

We had a wonderful three day ascent to Mount Toubkal. Communication with Mustapha was easy and straightforward during the planning phase. Our tour guide Noureddine was very professional and nice to spend time with. We felt well guided and in good hands all the time and enjoyed great food as well. I would go with this operator again.
