Description
This 2.5 -hour journey will lead you on top of both Reykjavik Peak and Lava Fields Mountain. You will begin your day by being picked up by the ATV Operator team and taken to their newly made headquarters, with well-equipped bathrooms and free coffee available. After the briefing, you will start your ATV journey across Hafravatn Lake and the Icelandic wilderness. Ascend Reykjavik Peak to enjoy the view, then tackle the steeper Lava Fields Mountain. These peaks offer fantastic views over Faxafloi bay, Esja mountain, Reykjavik, and the Blue Mountains. You can also see the steam from the Hellisheidi Geothermal power plant. No alcohol or drug tolerance is allowed on our tours. Participants showing up under the influence are not entitled to a refund. ATV Group Maximum: 20 Person

Please note that pick-ups from hotels in main-central Reykjavik are not allowed in certain areas designated as no pick-up zones by the City . As a result, you need to walk to the nearest bus stop, typically a 2-5 minute walk from your hotel. Great way to experience Iceland’s natural terrain
Beautiful! The route had so many amazing views of Iceland’s landscape. The overalls and gloves provided kept us very warm. Check the face shield on your helmet to make sure it isn’t scratched too much. Highly recommend this tour!

I have done ATV rides in several countries and continents and I can say hands down this was the best. Our guide Patrick was one of the best. The ride is fun, long, you cover a ton of ground (not just repeated circles), and you are completely in the open wild. The pickup at the BSI bus station was flawless. Bathrooms were extremely clean. They provide you with all the gear you need. I absolutely 100% would recommend this as a solo traveler, group, or as a couple. If I come back I will book another trip with this company.

Talk about NERVES! I enjoyed this more than expected. Most women rode with their spouses but I wanted my own experience and GOT it! After telling our guide I had never done anything like this, he said stay close to me so I went first and got a great education and experience to boot. Thank you!

Fantastic ATV adventure
An amazing experience on the ATVs in a small group. Exciting terrain, fantastic views and an excellent guide in Mario. Highly recommend this. Our family of 5 had an enjoyable time. There was a safety video and then we were assisted with our full waterproof jump suit, gloves, headgear and helmet. The collection was very smooth as was the drop off at the end of the day.

Beautiful nature ride.
We had a bright sunny day, so the views were phenomenal. Ser Klaz was knowledgeable in most things, very comedic as well. Even had one of the native Sheep walk up to us and he fed it. Will book again whenever I'm back in Ísland.

Great views and well organized company
This tour was fun. I would recommend getting your own ATV. It’s very bumpy and was a challenge sitting on the back as a passenger. Although great views and Daria our tour guide was amazing, get your own ATV you won’t regret it.

Not exactly what I envisioned
I want to be honest..the tour company provided a nice service but we basically drove along some hydro cuts looked at a lava field and then over the city and drove back. Maybe I had a diff idea of what we’d be doing and that’s on me I suppose. Iceland is pretty barren and rugged so, off-roading there and North America quite different…anyway…that’s that 🤷🏻

A must do!
Great experience! A must do! This is a great way to see landscape views not accessible by vehicle. Easy for first-time riders. Safari.is does a great job preparing the riders with the necessary equipment and a safety video to become familiar with the rules and how to operate the ATV. If we come back we will definitely do this again.

We had an amazing trip riding the ATVs. Our guide took us all over for different views. We would definitely do this again!
