Mount Merapi is the most active volcano in Indonesia and has erupted regularly since 1548. It is located at 1,700 metres above sea level. You will find many Jeep communities at Kaliadem who can offer you an off-road adventure of the devastated area covered by ash and lava in the last eruption.
