Originally set up as a large scale rice growing project in the 1950`s Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve attracts a wide range of local and migratory water birds and other wildlife including one of the largest populations of snakes within Australia
Enjoy interactive displays offering an insight into the ecological processes that occur in the wetlands and seasonal changes that are experienced. Also on display is extensive information explaining the Aboriginal & European histories of the area. From the upper viewing deck you will also get fantastic views over the Adelaide River floodplains.
Corroboree Billabong is part of the beautiful Mary River Wetlands, which are teaming with birdlife and also boasts the largest concentration of saltwater crocodiles in the world. View these prehistoric creatures in their natural environment cruising past our vessel or basking on the banks of the billabong. The birdlife at Corroboree Billabong is prolific and you get the opportunity to see a huge variety of species during your cruise. The sights were enjoyable and the guide provided excellent commentary but the bus perhaps ready for an upgrade. Viator needs to make it possible to use their up with mobile service. And also coordinate with the supplier of pickup times.

The tour was great from start to finish. We were picked up at our hotel right at the scheduled time. Cameron was knowledgeable and accommodating. He turned the boat around so people on both sides could get a view. We saw many crocodiles, birds and some water buffalo.

Our tour guide Donny was a wealth of knowledge and a funny guy as well.Commentary all the way whilst driving the bus and boat.Excellent lunch provided and we couldnt be happier with the day

Fogg dam and corroboree billabong lived up to expectations wonderful birds crocodiles buffalo- could not have been better. Really good lunch - great experience But a big part of such an experience is to be able to share it with others around you but no. The guide had two rules - don’t talk when I am talking and he talked all day and don’t move unless I say so - year 10 school excursion revisited The edge off what could have been a magical day

Cam picked us up outside our accommodation bang on time and everything went smoothly from there. Great information was provided and we saw lots of wildlife. While on the cruise Cam made sure that everyone in the boat got to see and film each and every creature we came across. The lunch was great - a big serving of fresh salad. The boat was comfortable and there was plenty of shade with the awning/cover stretching out over the water on each side.
