The black sand beach was worth the trip for me. So beautiful (I am making it my new background photo on my computer). We did not get to see the ice glacier do to the government closing the location for safety. But our tour guide made a different stop and we got to see Puffins up close.

It may be labeled as a 10 hour day but it is definitely a 12 hour trip. You will go under a waterfall so if having soggy shoes bugs you, bring a change.

A great full day tour highlighting Iceland's amazing South Coast. Mikki, our tour guide was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Lots of interesting information and fired in a stop to see the puffins up close. Many happy memories to take home.
