Our originating flight was weather delayed causing us to miss Reykjavik 1x/day flight. Tried to cancel at 22 hours but Operator did not answer phone, answered emails 24 hours later yet kept our money. To be fair they offered to reschedule next day (couldn't as we were boarding cruise) and friends that did go said it was a good tour. Caveat emptor.

Be prepared for a long day. We were scheduled for 9am pickup but had to get to a bus stop, a little confusing due to a race in town, but the company responded by email and it all worked out. We were in a 20 passenger bus, a little tight if you are a bigger person. First 90 minutes was just driving out of town. We stopped at a service station for bathroom break and we grabbed a small breakfast. Another hour drive to our first waterfall. More driving through mountains to a small church (wasn't open) but a beautiful view. Tour said we would go to the town of Vik, but it was just a drive-by. Through more mountains to the black sand beach, 1 hour break for lunch. The restaurant was crowded, but we sat down and got something to eat, good bathrooms here. There was also an outside food stand. Back through more mountains to another waterfall (be prepared to gt wet!) and then to a glacier. Beautiful scenery, LOTS of walking (far from the parking area to actually see the attraction), may want to consider hiking boots or waterproof raingear if you want to go up close. Our guide was very quiet, a good driver but didn't really provide a lot of info. Had to detour coming back due to road closure which made it an even longer day. If you want to see things in Iceland, it takes a while since nothing is close.

A wonderful experience to see South coast of Iceland. Well organized and Ivana, our guide is an amazing individual, focused, knowledgeable and experienced driver. She accommodate many within the group, few older travelers with mobility and medical issues and a family who needed to get back on time to catch a flight same night. She arranged for taxi to get them to hotel and pick up their belongings and head to the airport. All while, not inconveniencing others. Very smart and strategic thinker.

the tour guide was super nice and had lots of info. also there was a lady asking him questions constantly so he had a lot of patience and just answered her for a long time. NOW onto the amazing 10 hour tour. 10 hours seemed QUICK there were SO many amazing things to see. Be prepared to walk. I am a bit crippled in my knee and I still was able to hobble to the waterfalls, to the glacier and everywhere everyone went, I was just slower. take your time! Make sure to shop at LAVA and get a sandwich, I felt like it was a better place to eat than the place we stopped (earlier). take water/take snacks but you can also purchase on the way. I wore a TANK TOP and had my hoodie as back up but rarely had it on. everyone else wore their hoodies/coats The waterfall will get you wet so have some napkins. The views are breathtaking. there are about 5 stops but our driver also took a quick stop to pet a horse and to see a puffin, he went out of his way to make sure we got to experience Iceland! We will go back Lord willing and will definitely take another tour with this company.

Got to see a lot of amazing sights.waterfalls were amazing. Also got to see Icelandic horses. Loved all the lupine flowers.

Amazing day with Guide Dorie. Mini bus with 8 people, seemed like a private tour! Guide was very knowledgeable about our stops: volcanos, glaciers, black sand beach, towns, and waterfalls we visited. Also passengers asked many questions about other sites topics. Drive was along the coast. This tour was the highlight of our trip! Excursion covered over 200 miles of scenery. Pace really at our own, no rush if we wanted to stay longer at a site. Bring snacks, water for the bus. We did stop at several places for restroom stops and food. souvenirs available. Trip did also include an hour stop for lunch on your own in Vik.

Excelent full-day tour on the south coast

Long day with good experiences. Guide, David, from East/West, very good but sometimes hard to hear his comments. Be sure to pack for any type of weather, it can change in minutes. Group size is fine, its not really the group size you are with that can be a problem, its the number of people at any given site. South coast locations are large, so its not such a problem as golden circle route.

Our guide, Ehsan was great. He was very informative and helpful during our full day excursion. He was truly committed to be sure each of the trip participants had a great experience and that we had enough time to explore each stop. Would definitely recommend this excursion and guide to friends!
