1日の最初の目的地はクヴェラゲルジという町で、短いトイレストップがあります。 クヴェラゲルジはレイキャビクから車で約45分。 トイレ、パン屋、地震に関する展示がある。 ゴールデンサークルに向かう途中の短いピットストップだと思ってください。
グトルフォスの滝はアイスランドで最も有名な滝の一つです。 力強く背が高い。 ラングヨークトル氷河を源流とする氷河であるクヴィータゥ川が通り抜け、この2段の滝を流れ落ちる。 滝を観察するための一握りの展望台があり、グルフォスの上にはトイレ、カフェテリア、ギフトショップがあるグルフォスセンターがある。 注意：滝まで続く道は冬期は閉鎖されます。
ハウカダルルにはゲイシール温泉にまつわる温泉原があるが、ゲイシールは世界的に有名な温泉の一つであり、かつては間欠泉であった。 メインディスプレイは温泉間欠泉「シュトロックル」で、約5分ごとに噴出しています。 ここでは、この地域を散策する時間があり、昼食休憩もここで行います。 Geysirセンターでは、トイレ、ギフトショップ、あらゆるパレットやダイエットに適したレストランGlímaがあります。
シンクヴェトリルは歴史と自然の美しさにあふれています。 北アメリカとユーラシアの構造プレートの間に位置する。 この地溝帯は、アイスランドのすべての人々の心に特別な場所を持っています。 西暦930年、北欧のヴァイキング入植者が、現代世界最古の議会アルジンギ・イスレンディンガを設立した際に、この地に我が国が形成された。 この停留所では、この自然の驚異を散策するのに十分な時間があります。 2つの大陸に同時にいるのに 一番近い場所 地溝帯のプレートが引き離されている地溝帯を歩く機会があるでしょう。 国立公園の下では、ユーラシアプレートと北アメリカ構造プレートが毎年約2cm離れて移動しているため、この動きを観察することができる。 シンクヴェトリルは2004年にユネスコの世界遺産に登録され、アイスランドで最も美しく、歴史的な場所の1つであることは間違いありません。 エリア内には来館者用のトイレや喫茶店がある。
ケリズ・クレーターに立ち寄ります。ケリズ・クレーターは6500年前の火山で、小さな湖が含まれています。 このクレーターは、苔、赤い火山岩、水色のコントラストの色彩が特徴である。 ぜひ湖畔に降りて、雄大な景色を眺めながらケリズへ。

We had such a wonderful experience on this tour! I went with my family and it was the perfect way to discover some of Iceland’s most incredible landscapes in one day. Everything was well organized, relaxed, and we had enough time to really enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. A special thank you to our guide, Maria, who was fantastic! She was warm, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable with all the interesting information she shared along the way. We left with beautiful memories (and way too many photos 😂). Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland. Highly recommended! 🇮🇸✨
Great sites. Travel was miserable as the driver/guide was very difficult to understand. Heavy dialect, broken English. Was made even worse as the sound system was terrible. You always enjoy hearing about the history/geography as we travel. This was impossible with this driver. Very, very friendly fellow, but a poor travel guide.
Because of the eclipse, crowds were still very large. Iceland has done a great job at having plenty of services and facilities at these natural wonders. Our driver did a great job and everyone was mindful of the time limits at each stop. There were good explanations of each stop and some history, but there was limited commentary....we covered long distances. Unfortunately, one visitor had a cold and sneezed and coughed for the entire trip with no mask. Word of caution if you are trying to stay healthy, bring your own mask in such closed quarters. Thus is a great 20 Person tour, covering one of the "must see" Icelandic sights.
It was a great tour. The guide was good and very sincere, but very difficult to understand because of his accent and he talked fast. We understood about 50% of what he said.
Jon was our guide. Gave us a lot of info without talking incessantly. Really nice guy. Great sites. Saw a lot, learned a lot. Pickup at cruise terminal was chaotic. Think about numbering vans so we can look for right van instead of 20 drivers calling out names. Good tour though.
This was so worth the money, I opted for the small tour and was glad we did it, we had around 12 people on a small Mercedes tour bus that was very comfortable and our tour guide was absolutely fantastic. He did an absolute fantastic job not only driving and getting us around but was very entertaining. Tour was great, the sites we covered were breath taking and he offered to drop anyone off elsewhere besides pickup location when returning to Reykjavik. We would have had to double back across the city to visit the Perlan Museum that evening as we had planned but he dropped us off there. That was such a nice gesture and time saving thing to do.
It was the best to see so much! Truly the best tour and driver/guide! Our guide was so knowledgeable about everything we saw.
Driver guide drove in a jerky manor and tailgated a lot. Maybe that is how Icelanders drive? Enjoyed his narrative and personal stories. Added a stop that was a favorite place of his-appreciate that! It's kind of a long day of driving but great sights along the way and worth going along. If you're going to Iceland this tour is worth the effort. Enjoyed the "small group" tour as the drive goes faster in a small van, than a big tour bus. As usual, most stops were crowded. Sadly, the van was a bit "used", the nets to hold stuff on the backs of the seats were all shredded-what happened here? No place for your water bottle as a result though there was an overhead rack for your lunch- smart to bring your own if you can. Weather was quite cool-plan for that.
This was a must-do for our 3-night Reykjavík visit. It was very good - got to see a wide range of Iceland’s geography and learn about the area’s history and legends from our driver, Sergio. We had very good weather which was a big plus. Could have used a bit more time at a couple of the sight-seeing stops (waterfall and national park). Understanding what a driver is saying on these types of excursions is not always easy and that was also a bit of a challenge on this one. Minibus seats were very small/narrow.
Edgar was great! Beautiful scenery..well organized! The buses are very comfortable and roads nice. Booking easy as well.
