We really enjoyed our shore excursion with Palmi as our guide. Very informative on the bus between stops and always knew the best places to go at each location. Highly recommended!

The tour guide was very informative and entertaining. He made the excursion a lot of fun. It was much cheaper doing it through Viator then booking it on the ship.

One of the best tours we have done. Our guide Mr G made it. He was an excellent guide who was also very humorous.

Our bus driver (tour guide) was short tempered and hard to hear. We were rushed from place to place and kept returning early after we got yelled at for being late when trying to use a rest room at the first stop. He did not give an overview at the beginning of how long each segment of the tour would take or where we were going next.

One of the best trips ever!! Biggi was amazing. We stopped at a few extra places that weren't on the itinerary that he knew of since he was born and raised here and we agreed as a group to pass on the mud bath stop as it was too cold. He stopped at the Continental Tectonic divide so we could stand over two continents and also view where the Game of Thrones cave scene was filmed, saw how locals baked bread in the ground, a tour of downtown with the history, abs much more. He was very personable as well.

The guide was informative and knowledgeable. It was a better excursion than I was expecting. The countryside is beautiful and rugged and it was everything I wanted and more.

Tour guide Biggie provided extensive information about the Geo Thermal activities and the trip by the thermal plant was informational. Godafoss was awesome. Great to see the fault line and to visit and be able to stand on 2 continents felt intense.

Guide was terrific - young man, forgot his name. Well versed, interesting and great sense of humor. Van was very hot, but he tried everything to mitigate. Scenery fantastic, falls spectacular, Myvatn nature bath was my wife’s highlight and I was impressed with the cave - small but impressive! Excursion WELL worth the money!

This was a great day despite the wind and rain. I was worried about finding the meeting location, but it was easy. There is a series of wooden ‘huts’ near the pier so it was just a matter of reading to find this tour group. It turned out that it were part of a small group, so the driver/guide was able to show us some additional sites. The most unexpected was along the tunnel - he pulled over on the shoulder and we got out and went to a room that was excavated off the side. In it was an exhibit to show how the tunnel was constructed. We stopped for lunch - not at Lake Myvatn. We didn’t go to the Lake/Lagoon itself, but saw it from the road. Not a problem - did I mention the wind and rain? The weather eased up enough for us to spend some time at the continental divide/rift/cave. This tour was worth the money we spent on it. It was a very interesting day and we were with a very small group of people. And it was significantly cheaper than a similar excursion available on our cruise.
