We were met at the port and shown to the mini bus. Our driver and guide Graham was absolutely fantastic. He pointed out lots of places and gave us loads on information about the area and Iceland in general. There were a lot of flies and Graham even had head nets for us to use. He walked us around the lava field giving us stories of trolls. At the natural baths some didn’t want to go into the baths so he took us to a cave which was superb. The waterfall was fantastic although we didn’t have time to walk right to the far end to get close to the waterfall but fantastic anyway. We stopped at a few photo points of interest. Graham kept an eye on the time and got us back in time for embarking. All in all a fantastic day out. Thank you Graham

The tour guide/driver was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. I guess my honor regret is that I didn't go into the mud baths.

Spectacular views at the points and the entire drive.
Our driver/ guide was entertaining, knowledgeable and very considerate.
Take nets to protect yourselves from annoying insects.

Excellent trip - beware the midges!
Excellent trip! Easy to find the Imagine Cruising chalet at the port. Efficiently organised onto mini bus. Our driver/guide Johannes, was brilliant and made the day very enjoyable. He is obviously (rightly) extremely proud of his home island. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, helped by the sunshine.
Only word of warning, beware the midges! They don't bite but are very persistent and seem to love tourists! If you can get a head covering net, it would save a lot of flapping!
This was the best organised of the three Viator trips we have done this holiday

Great tour, stunning views, highly recommend a swim in the Nature Lagoon.
Fabulous tour!… our guide was SO good, telling us lots of stories and information about Iceland.
He went out of his way to give us the best tour.
The waterfall was simply stunning. We also went to the Nature Lagoon which was a truly spectacular experience. Warm, blue and gorgeous, a must do experience.

Myvatn and Godafoss experience
Godafoss was quite stunning but accounted for only a small part of the trip. The majority of the trip was either around Lake Myvatn and hordes of swarming midges or inside a nice van with fewer midges. Even our guide was shocked by the overwhelming number of these friendly flies. The midges don't bite but do other obnoxious stuff like fly up your nose, into your ears and into your mouth. Myvatn was just OK for me with lava structures being referred to as trolls. And there is a historic story about the 12 trolls of Christmas but I was so distracted by the flies I never really took it all in. The ride was long and accompanied by rather unremarkable scenery.

Excellent tour!
We got to see many things on this tour which were all very neat! Highly recommend swimming at the lagoon! Mr. G was fabulous, very kind and very informative! This tour was great to be able to see many things in a day!
