We went at 9am so not busy. A lot of money to see a balcony and sparce house. But you know that you are paying for a rediculous experience!!

We booked this via the Verona Card which gets you in to all of the major attractions for one price rather than book individually (you still have to book a time slot for this attraction though). I'm glad I booked it this way rather than spend 20 euros to get in and onto the balcony. It's a lovely attraction and very evocative of the story of Romeo & Juliet but it is very much geared towards taking photos. The line area for the balcony is well managed and there is a gallery of R&J related art with a fact sheet you can read whilst you wait. The line went down quite quickly as each guest is allocated one minute on the balcony (fantastic to help curb 'influencers' taking over for a full blown photoshoot). The line also had air conditioning, making it a comfortable reprieve from the heat. It was dissapointing to see tourists posing grabbing the breast of the Juliet statue down in the courtyard and how often that happens due to the polish of the brass. Thankfully that is a reproduction statue with the oroginal being on display as you queue for the balcony.

Not impressed- picking up tickets very confusing- sign into this app- get this code- took me forever! The actual event was NOT worth the costs- very much a made up facade of a building with a balcony- wouldn’t waste my time! Will never use the services of Viatour again- PK- Canada

It is a fun 30 minutes but not much more than that. Very busy, so there’s stil a ‘line’ that you get near the front of but not actually ‘skip’. Juliet’s statue and balcony are great photos however

The main supplier sold tickets that were advertised as the full access-I double checked yet they didn’t even take accountability. That one star is purely for the help of the Italian provider that tried to get me in touch with customer service. Customer service is an absolute disgrace-they offered a20% refund when they should have offered a full one considering that it was all their fault and on top of that I had to buy new tickets for the full access at the house. They scammed me off my hard earned money. Please don’t use them!

It was fun but I wouldn’t go again. There wasn’t any background or historic information because it was created just for tourists and Romeo and Juliet is a fictional story Shakespeare developed from a number of other sources without visiting Verona. They chose a 14 century house with a courtyard and a family name that was similar to the play. They added the balcony later using a gravestone because tourists wanted a balcony. It’s an example of what it would have been like had it been real and allows you to immerse yourself, but Shakespeare didn’t write it there even though there is a bust of him near the entrance. Although you know it’s a fictional story you can’t help be disappointed to know it wasn’t written there based on a local story. But enjoyable to visit anyway to imaging life at the time of the play and to see the hundreds of heart graffiti declaring love

We booked the tickets quite spontaneously a few days before. Everything went very smoothly. On site there were two lines, one for visitors who only looked at the teatro nuovo and the courtyard, and the second one for those who had booked the complete package with the house and balcony. The house is large, you walk through several floors and there is something to see in every room. On the famous balcony (everyone is allowed on it for about 1 min), we naturally took photos too, and also with the statue of Juliet in the courtyard. The price of 22€ for adults is okay, but for children (even those older than 5!) one should perhaps think about a discount. By and large, it was a very nice experience that we will take with us. Organization on site is great, the young people who work there are super friendly and helpful!

I booked on the day and it was very quick and easy. It was very organised when we arrived. I didn’t realised I hadn’t added my 2 under 5 tickets to the booking but this wasn’t a problem. I just scanned the QR code on the sign and got them very easily. The woman was very helpful. The queue went down quickly. They limited ppl to 1 minute on the balcony so everyone could get a Picture. I thought this was fair. Fans and aircon units were plugged in throughout the house.

Honestly, it is not worth 22 euros… but how can you go to Verona without seeing Juliet's house and balcony…
