最初のフードストップでは、アポロ神殿の歴史的な雰囲気に囲まれながら、地元の最も本格的な屋台料理に飛び込んでいきます。 肉、調理済みのハム、ほうれん草、ピスタチオ、オーベルジンなど、さまざまな具材を黄金色に揚げた、シチリアの伝統の味を存分に味わえる世界的に有名なおにぎり、アランチーニを堪能しましょう。 夏には、その日に獲れた新鮮な魚を詰め込んだフィッシュコーンのフライも楽しめます。 アポロ神殿の古代の柱を背景に、オルティギアの街並みが活き活きと賑やかに彩るなか、これらの特産品を味わうことは、歴史、文化、風味の完璧な融合となります。
次は、伝統的な職人技であるシチリアのインパナータを試食します。 この楕円形の黄金色のカルツォーネにはトマトソース、野菜、肉、チーズ、ジャガイモ、ソーセージ、さらにはエビやブラックオリーブがたっぷり入り、大胆な風味が豊かに広がります。 歴史的な宮殿の壮麗さと地元の人々や訪問者の活気に満ちたエネルギーに囲まれたアルキメーデ広場で楽しむと、このテイスティングは食事以上のものとなり、シラクサの料理と文化の真の心の味になります。

Great experience and guide and lots interesting information
The experience with Giuseppe was exceptional; he not only explained all the typical Sicilian dishes, but also explained the history of Ortigia on the way from one restaurant to another. The food was very good, explanations with a lot of passion. I would do it again, highly recommended.
Giuseppe our guide was extremely knowledgeable He knew everything about real Sicilian food & drink. He led the tour & really entertained us with his vibrant personality I’d definitely recommend this foodie experience. We tasted things I’d not had before. Wonderful! Not to be missed
It was a lovely food tour. We got to taste many local delicacies and Giuseppe was an amazing guide who told us a lot of interesting history and facts about Ortigia and the food.

We had a wonderful time on our food tour with Giuseppe! He did a great job of addressing everyone in the group, learning about our holidays, and combining Ortigia history with information about the dishes. We tried a wonderful assortment of local dishes and the quantities were generous. He was thoughtful about restroom breaks and dietary restrictions as well.
A must do experience while in Ortigia. Can’t recommend it highly enough Truly delicious Sicilian food as well as an informative and enthusiastic guide. From our meeting at the RVP, Giuseppe was a kind and welcoming guide and we knew we would be in safe hands. We got to try some amazing charcuterie and cheeses; fried fish and vegetables; incredible arancini as well as granita and cannoli A first rate experience.

This was the best food tour we have ever been on. Giuseppe really made the tour for us. He was very personable and so knowledgeable about not only the food, but of the history of Siracusa and surrounding areas. He even made sure we were able to catch the sunset while we ate granita. Oh, and the food was all freshly made, delicious and plentiful. I wish I could give this tour an extra star.
Maria was such a good host, she knew so much history of the area. And we could see how passionate she was to show her home town. The food was good. We tasted local, traditional food. I paid just short of £120.00 for two, and for me, this is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars for everything. The food was tasty a d filling but not sure it was worth the price.
