We had a wonderful food tour with our guide Simona! She was such a warm, friendly and lovely. What made this experience especially unique was that Simona is a true local she grew up in Catania, right in the central streets where we took the tour. Hearing her childhood stories and personal memories connected to the local businesses and restaurants we visited made the experience much more interesting and special. The food was incredibly authentic, and honestly, it was some of the best food we had during our entire trip in Sicily. I especially loved the arancini and the almond and pistachio granita! I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an authentic Sicilian culinary experience, and especially recommend having Simona as your guide. ❤️🇮🇹

Carolina was and excellent guide - so much information and anecdotes all delivered at an easy to understand pace and way. The stops we had were first class. The group size was perfect and the tour itself was the right length of time, with spare time afterwards to revisit some of the town and places we stopped at.

Giulia was the perfect host. We not only learned about the backstory of the local food but also a lot of cultural history.

Giulia was brilliant! The tour was informative and fun. The food interesting and the company great, with short walks between each stop - definitely recommend.

Alfio was an excellent tour guide…easy to chat with, very knowledgeable, knows Catania food. Go very hungry…don’t eat before hand. We had so much food we took stuff home with us. He explains thoroughly and uses the internet to show examples and provide more information. He doesn’t rush. Definitely worth booking a food tour.

This a great tour and Simona is a wonderful tour guide. The food is plentiful so come hungry - this is a great value for the money. Simona is from the area and very knowledgeable.

Alfio was awesome. We are amazing food (arancino, fried fish, canolli to name a few) and with each meal came an awesome history lesson of Catania and Sicily. If you're in Catania do yourself a favor and book a tour with Alfio. You'll eat your way through the city and learn about this fascinating island influenced by Greek, Roman, and Arabic cultures. Three hours flew by and Alfio couldnnit have been a kinder more informative guide. 10 ⭐
