We had an amazing time, it was so much more than I could have imagined. It was professionally organised and executed. The food and accomodation were faultless and better than imagined. Value for money wise, you really can’t complain, you get so much on this trip it is hard to belive the price. Our guide Chachy was the best and I could not have asked for more from him, he made the trip. He looked after us so well and so personally. Anything we needed he sorted. He was also very passionate and knowledgeable which made the trekking very special. He made us feel safe but also we had a good laugh and he made us feel like a team and a family after only knowing each other for a day! I couldn’t recommend this enough, a very special trip!

Amazing experience!!!! The Choquequirao Trek with Salkantay was awesome. They were professional and easy to communicate with. We had a great guide, Darwin, and an amazing chef, Urbano, who prepared delicious meals every day. The campsites along the way were beautiful with toilets and showers! We got to enjoy Choquequirao all to ourselves and the trails were not crowded. Overall, amazing trekking experience.

Unforgettable experience, incredible places and people

Amazing scenery, food & culture on our trek. Pedro, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable telling us about Choquequirao as well as stories of growing up in the area. Although the group was small, the speeds of the participants varied greatly and Pedro accommodated each of us. The cook was fantastic- every meal was a treat!! The whole 5 days were an experience we will always remember!

Great experience. We did the 6 day Salkantay trek with Alex and Dennis. Little details made it extra good. Hot water bottles at Sky Camp and Morning Coca tea delivery in bed by Alex. They thought of everything.

WOW! Guido was/is a fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly, and humorous guide that cannot be outdone. His passion and knowledge for the culture is obvious throughout our trip. He connected with each one of our “Team Dave” and was there to help, each of us, when we needed it. The additional staff, cook and mule team, and he worked flawlessly together. The meals were beyond what I expected and the help was beyond compare. A special thank you to each as they were amazing. As for scenery, I’ll just say that I shot over 500 photos and lloved share this one-in-a-lifetime adventure with my family and friends and hope that someday they will do the same with Salkantay expeditions.

I had a wonderful experience thank you to our guide Guide Roman. He did a wonderful job supporting and helping us. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the Incas and the local traditions, ss he grew up in this area. Always smiling and explaining what we would go each day. The trek was very well organized. Franz did an excellent job briefing us several times a day. Very attentive to our gluten free diet. Excellent job educating us along the way
