An amazing experience from start to finish. I did the hike from Salkantay to Machu Picchu as a family and it totally exceeded our expectations. The organization was impeccable, the guides always attentive and very prepared, and the glamping service made all the difference was comfortable, clean and perfect to rest after each day
Excellent service, we highly recommend it! The sites were incredible, the guides very knowledgeable, they picked us up from the hotel very on time. Everything was perfectly coordinated, my friends and I didn't worry about anything, all our drivers, guides, and transfers were kind and professional. Special mention to our guide Elvis. 😊

We had an amazing trip! Super challenging but beautiful trip of a lifetime. This was a dream trip and they made it come true! AsOur guide, Juan Carlos, was absolutely the very best. We had someone get sick on the first day and he went out of his way to look out for him and take care of the whole situation. He also did such great job of helping our group set a good pace and working information about the trail and it's history into times he could tell we needed a break. He truly became a part of our team and feels like a member of the family. We will stay in touch with him Even after the trip is over. Also, our cook, Pedro, was one of the best cooks ever, and our porters were amazing! Pedro needs his own restaurant as soon as possible! The entire team all went above and beyond and absolutely spoiled us at camp. One of the best trips ever and they truly Made it a dream trip! Would recommend this company to anyone!!
My friend and I did this tour together and had a wonderful time! Our tour guide was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the area. We always felt safe and well taken care of. The food was also a real highlight - we didn’t know what to expect but our chef was fantastic and the local food really added to the experience. Absolutely would book with this company again.
The trek was beautiful! It was physically a little challenging but we were well prepared and our guide was very helpful and checked on us regularly. The food was really good and we learned a lot about the Incans. We felt very accomplished and had a great trip!
Elvis was great! I originally booked with Kenko adventures but due to protests others in my group backed out. However, Elvis arranged all the details so that I could go with another group and it truly was an incredible experience! Peru is rich in history and wildlife and this tour allowed me to learn about it all. Also, the team of porters were amazing and did so much hard work, including preparing incredible meals, to ensure this trip was a success!
The entire trip was incredible from start to finish. From the night before we received a professional explanation for the owner himself Elvis, handling any concerns we had. Moreover, the next morning we met our team of porters and guide and we were off. We had a private 3 person tour, our guide Victor was the best, providing amazing detail for all of the Inca sights with a smile and throughout the trip we really got to know him as a person. He was very personable and experienced as he has been doing the Inca trail for 18 years. The porters are the hardest working of them all carrying 25kg on their back for all 45km. We even tried to carry them for a section and it was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. They do it with ease and are extremely professional all having 13-30 years of experience under their belt. Our chef Jorge, I cannot recommend him enough, he created new 3 course meals for every occasion and even baking us a cake on the last day. He went above and beyond on all aspects! He also spoke some English and tried his best to connect with us and taught us some cooking techniques which was really cool. The hike itself was amazing and Kenko offers a competitive price while giving above and beyond service. If you want a great trip with no hassle book with them.
Amazing trip 100% worth the 4 day hike and better than just taking the train to Machu Picchu. Our guide Primo was full of knowledge and kept us happy and fed. Coolest thing I’ve ever done. The guide and porters are definitely worth the money since they carry all your belongings up and down 8000-13400 ft. If possible I would recommend getting to Machu Picchu more towards the afternoon because the main view was cloudy, but still visible. Also ask in advance about tip because you can only withdraw about $200 usd from the atms per day and they ask for about 18,000 soles.
I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 17 years and they blew my expectations out of the water. Elvis was such a knowledgeable guide, food and camping service was great, and they were so helpful with us taking in every moment of the 4 day trek. Trip of a lifetime and Kenko made it magical!
