WOW. Wow. Wow. It is hard to put into words the experience with Chef Tanya. We were first welcomed into her home. Her personality and charm poured over my wife and me. We immediately felt comfortable and welcome. We settled in with drinks and then the amazing conversation ensued. We talked about so many different things--shared experiences that my wife (a native Panamanian) and Chef Tanya had. It was so clear that we were here by providence. Chef Tanya went on to present us with course after course (tapas-style) all night long. There was a great mixture of different types of foods and Chef Tanya made gracious accommodations for my wife who has more dietary restrictions. By the time we were done, our stomachs and our hearts were full. We feel like we not only had an experience but made a friend. I cannot recommend this highly enough. And, DEFINITELY request Chef Tanya. You won't regret it.

This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Panama. We spent three wonderful hours in Tanya's home enjoying an incredible multi-course meal while learning about Panamanian culture through its food. As she served each dish, Tanya shared the history, traditions, and stories behind what we were eating, along with insights into life in Panama. She welcomed every question we had, and the conversation made the evening feel personal, authentic, and unforgettable. We were traveling as a family of six, with kids ranging from 8 years old to college age, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Tanya even added a few special touches for our 8-year-old, creating fun non-alcoholic drinks so he could feel included while the adults enjoyed the cocktail pairings. It was such a thoughtful gesture and something he still talks about. If you're looking for more than just a great meal, this is an experience you shouldn't miss. Tanya's warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home, the food was outstanding, and we left with a much deeper appreciation for Panama, its people, and its culinary traditions. We would recommend this to anyone visiting Panama.

This is a must-do experience but be sure to pace yourself. 32 portions is a lot of food and all of it is delicious! You'll want to try everything. You couldn't ask for a better host/chef than Tonya. She welcomed us into her home and delighted us with delicious food and stories of Panama. Scrumptious food, drink, and conversation flowed making the experience personal and fun. I recommend this experience early in your visit so you know which Panamanian food you like best. Spoiler alert: They are all good!

Tonya is the best!! Everything she makes is delicious!! I would recommend her to anyone visiting the area. Her home was inviting and open, great conversations took place around her table, and she taught us to make mojitos. I have to say, the passion fruit popsicle is to die for. 10 out of 10 stars!!
