Tour booked, charged to credit card and no guide to be seen on the day! Called with Viator, the tour was not booked with the local guide! The lady on the phone did not know how to do that! Very bad because we waited 45 min, precious time because we had to get to the airport on time. So we didn't see the ins and outs of Bari with the nice restaurants! We were a group of 11 so you don't just queue up somewhere! Very bad that Viator does not check in advance if everything is also booked with the guide / tour operator on the spot! Was still called by the guide if the resistance could be that was nice, but we were pretty upset! So for Viator a tip if you offer this then also check in advance if it all adds up and not just collect money! And give a phone number to the customer so you can reach the guide! Now hope I get the money back!

The entire walk was beautifully planned and covered almost the entire old town area of Bari. Our guide Chiara was simply outstanding! She paced our walk well, explained every location, monument and area and their history clearly and in great depth. Loved every minute of the 2 hour walk!👍🙏 The proverbial icing on the cake was a complimentary Gelato in what is arguably the best Gelato Cafe in Bari....the Gentile Cafe! Thank you, Chiara! Chamanin!!!😅
