This was a great chance to taste the street food of Bari! Nicholas did an outstanding job telling us the stories of the food and the families that made it. There’s only one stop where you sit down, so be prepared for a lot of standing. The focaccia was absolutely amazing and worth standing in line and taking your chances with Rino the Bouncer. Fortunately, Nicholas took care of that for us! The octopus was unexpectedly good, don’t be scared off because it’s octopus. The Panzerotti were delicious as well.

Fabulous food and history in Bari
Nicholas did an excellent food tour of Bari this afternoon. We enjoyed Focaccia from the oldest bakery in Bari as well as a Polpo sandwich and Gelato from the oldest place in Bari.

Delicious!
This was such a great tour! Alessia was a great host too! Informative and communicated well…she was also very nice and even gave us recommendations for other things to do after the tour.
The food was amazing- focaccia, octopus sandwich (Bari specialty), and little pockets of goodness (panzarotti). Ended the tour with gelato in the square at Martinucci! Delicious!

Yummy Bari Food Tour
18 of us just took the Bari food tour because we had a few hours to spare before heading out. Our guide, Alessia, was so amazing! Not only did she take us to the best local spots for food, she gave us some history of the town as well. The grilled octopus sandwich was my favorite. Everyone left full and happy!!

Fantastic Foodie Feast!
We had a wonderful experience with Giuseppe walking around the old town of Bari. Giuseppe told us great anecdotes about the city and we ate divine food - my favourite was the delicious octopus sandwich. Giuseppe catered to our interests and was extremely attentive in making sure we weren’t run over by crazy motorcyclists. We rolled home with a full belly and a really fun experience. If you are lucky enough to go on a tour with Giuseppe, you are getting the best! Thank you for a wonderful tour!
