We arrived without a reservation and were put on the next boat, about an hour later. There is a nice little cafe right there and we had a coffee while we waited. There was also a restroom available. As we were instructed, we were available ten minutes before the start time. Our name was called and we took off our shoes and got on the boat. There were eleven people total on the boat, a nice mix of friendly people. The captain was friendly and explained what we were seeing. We went near or into about six sea caves, saw the beach and the cave restaurant in town. The sea was calm and at times the captain hit the gas for a more exciting ride. We stopped for about twenty minutes for people to swim in the clear water, full of fish. We were offered some champagne, juice and water and some crackers. We really bonded with other people on the boat. This was a great introduction to Polignano and I think a must do activity for everyone. Also, there is a lot of easy parking nearby.

Bring your swimsuit. The captain was very entertaining. Loved the experience. Would recommend it. Great restaurant in the port to have lunch when you get off the boat

My friend and I booked the 1.5 hour boat cave tour for 2pm. There were 8 other people on board with us. The boat tour is less of a tour and more of a crazy race to maybe 3 caves in the area. You spend about a minute looking at the cave, and my particular boat operator was so soft spoken that you couldn’t actually hear any information about it. Then you’re off to the next. Prepare to get fully soaked while on the boat- we went out on a mild day but it was seemingly our guys mission to make it a splash zone. He then takes you into a teeny ugly bay where all the other boat tours also drop their wards and split 1 bottle of champagne between 11 people + handed everyone a bag of airplane sized snacks. Then said - swim if you want. We got out because what else is there to do, but also there is nowhere to actually swim because the whole bay is full of other tour boat suckers. We got back in the boat when he called and he took us back to the meeting point, which is like 2 minutes from the swimming bay. We were back in the marina by 3:20pm. Huge waste of time and money. Go to a nice beach instead.

Experience is exactly as described. This is a 1.5 hour tour that has an easy to find meeting point. It shows the caves, and that famous restaurant. Before coming back, you can jump off the boat for a quick swim. I highly recommend it. It is just the right length. No shoes worn on boat and collected before boarding. Wear bathing suit.

Very disappointing late starting the trip 3.30 leave we left at 3.45 for and hour and a half trip and arrived back at 4.45 the guide was uninformative with an arrogant air we were taken to swim in a port with graffiti on the walls amongst other boats not beautiful at all it felt cheap and not the experience it was sold as

A fantastic boat experience exploring beautiful caves, swimming in crystal-clear waters, enjoying an aperitif, and taking in stunning coastal views. Our guide made the trip especially memorable with his good energy. A definite highlight of our time in Puglia! 🚤☀️🍹

Really enjoyed our trip, the staff were very friendly and we had a great boat trip, Prosecco was lovely! Captain was very friendly and gave us lots of info On the trip. When you get off recommend the restaurant for pizzas!

We hired a private boat tour to see the Polignano area to see the caves and go swimming. The day before. There had been a storm, and although it dawned clear, the sea looked a bit rough. When we got on the boat, you could already tell the sea was not calm, and we could not swim in the area where we were supposed to swim, which was in the caves. We hired a boat tour so we could swim, not to go for a ride on a choppy sea where we had to hold on the whole time because it felt like you were going to fall off the boat. What the company should have done was cancel that tour because the sea was not in conditions to do the activity. They took us to swim in a nearby harbor, but it was not what we wanted, and we did not enjoy it. And the price, which is €350 for an hour and a half, is not just for taking a ride on the sea.
