What a great way to kick off our stay in Puglia. Silvia is an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable, but also extremely passionate about her hometown. Our family had a wonderful afternoon learning about Bari and experiencing its culture and food. Thankyou
We were originally booked with a ToursbyLocals individual who had to cancel, but were very happy with our Velo Service tour and Guide. Food stops were excellent!! Barbara, our guide, and trainee Camille were engaging and spoke excellent English. Bari is beautiful and this tour was a wonderful start to our time in Puglia. Velo made sure there were Gluten-free and Vegan options too!

This is NOT a food tour and it's certainly not very original. Very disappointing considering how colourful and versatile the local gastronomic scene is. Reviews left 3 years ago describe our experience perfectly so it is very clear that the tour company is not serious about improving their service and is happy to continue misleading and over-charging. The meet-up point on TripAdvisor is incorrect and left us rushing to a different address last minute. Our food tour was more of an add-on rather than it's own thing. We expected 3 hours of delicious food, history and valuable insights from a local guide. Instead, our food tour left us hungry till 1PM in a country celebrated for its food... The tour added no value and we would've been better off just visiting these places on our own without over-paying. Bit of meat with two olives, a panzerotti and gelato..just do a quick Google search and save your money!
Very nice visit with a very competent guide who made us discover the places of the trip them Bari where there is good cuisine as well as traditions. The street of grannies who make pasta for example. Delighted with the visit

Excellent food tour in Bari. We had Alessia who was brilliant - thank-you Alessia. She was local and gave us an excellent tour around the old city. The food was fantastic. Highly recommend it. What a beautiful city!

Our guide Barbara was terrific!!!!! She was knowledgeable about Old Town, the Bari history and culture and was delightful. The food was truly a sample of the area cuisine and enough to fill you. Ala in all a great experience

The tour stated four stops for food tasting and we only had one stop and I'm not sure if you can even call it a stop. We stood outdoors and were given a piece of focaccia bread and a napkin. This is by far very different than any other food tour I have done in many other countries. Typically you make stops sit down in a restaurant here a little bit of information about the restaurant taste food at the restaurant sometimes have a beverage as well. The only food stop we had as I mentioned above was one and we had to stand up outside. This was very disappointing and did not at all match the description of the tour. On a positive note the guide was good and funny.
