Ladies were lovely, warm, informative, and very friendly. Food was excellent, very knowledgable about food and wine.

Hands down our favorite experience in Italy!A friend who recently visited Italy recommended The Gourmet Girls of Sorrento, and it completely blew us away. Because these wonderful women have lived here for years, the tour feels exactly like having local Italian friends take you out to their absolute favorite spots.They introduced our group of 8 to humble restaurant owners who have nonstop reservations, treating us to incredible local foods, fantastic wines, and the best tiramisu we've ever tasted. It is clear they have built deep, long-lasting relationships with the most genuine people in town. The Gourmet Girls are such phenomenal hosts that they felt like family by the end of the day. If you want a winning, deeply personable experience where you truly get to taste Sorrento, this is a absolute must!

We had a really loved relaxed time with Vanessa and Lee, who are wonderful hosts and have really good local knowledge. The food was excellent- we were so full at the end! Great to experience authentic family businesses, accompanied by people who actually live there.

We had an absolutely wonderful time on this food and wine tour! Every stop offered delicious, authentic fresh food paired with excellent local wines, and we got to experience flavors we never would have found on our own. Our guide Vanessa was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared fascinating stories about the local history, culture, and cuisine in Sorrento that made the experience even more enjoyable. The tour was well organized, the pace was perfect, and the portions were generous. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and we left with full stomachs and great memories. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the true taste of the area. Five stars all the way!

This is the second time that we have done this progressive lunch tour with the Gourmet Girls. We had our first tour two years ago, booked after listening to Lee on the podcast Untold Italy. She was so charming and fun on that podcast. When we planned our trip to the Amalfi Coast, we booked our first lunch tour, took the SITA bus to Sorrento and had the best time. Both Lee and Vanessa took us to four different restaurants for wine and food and more food and dessert, and it was such a fun time. Fast forward 2 years later, and we booked the progressive lunch tour again, this time with our two friends. Vanessa was away, so it was Lee who led our group. The food was plentiful and delicious, the wine flowed, and there was so much laughter throughout our group of four couples. Lee kept everything fun and had great stories to tell of being transplanted from Scotland to Sorrento, Italy. This tour was truly the highlight of our vacation, both this year and two years ago. Thank you to both Lee and Vanessa for putting together such a fun and memorable experience for us. And we missed you this time Vanessa!

Gourmet Girls – Sorrento Our time with Gourmet Girls in Sorrento ended up being one of those experiences that stays with you long after the trip is over. From the moment we met, it felt less like joining a tour and more like being welcomed by friends who truly love this place and want you to love it too. Every stop had a story, every tasting, wine included felt intentional, and the way they connected the food to the people who make it gave the whole experience real depth. I never felt rushed—just relaxed, engaged, and genuinely cared for. Their warmth, humor, and local insight made the day feel special in a way you can’t manufacture. By the end, I wasn’t just full—I felt like I’d been given a glimpse into the heart of Sorrento. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Amazing foodie & wine experience. We visited very different places that we would have never found ourselves, and met the owners who were proud to share their stories. Vanessa & Lee were both lovely, and kept us entertained all evening. We have done several foodie tours in many different places, and this was by far the best.
