Unfortunately, my husband was not feeling well that night, but it was a fantastic evening the girls who do the tour are funny personable, and very knowledgeable went to some most fantastic restaurants with some delicious mine
We were blown away with this tour! Vanessa greeted us and took us outside of Piazza Tasso which was a welcome relief of the commotion we had been used to. We started at an amazing wine bar with small plates and a wine tasting. Everything was fantastic. We then went to a local Italian restaurant for several pasta dishes and more wine. We next walked to a local steakhouse and enjoyed some steak and meatballs and finished at a bar for coffee, drinks and cake. Highly recommend this tour!
This was our second time on this same tour. Lee and Vanessa are so fun and friendly. I cannot say enough. The food is phenomenal and the company is second to none. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. We made a special trip to Sorrento just for this tour. But so worth it.
This is our second tour with Gourmet Girls, but our first for the Progressive Dinner. Our guides Leah and Vanessa know and love Sorrento and it shows in their tour. We went to hidden gems for a taste of Sorrento, from a lovely Enoteca with modern musical flare to the coolest cocktail bar with an amazing flourless cake. The Gourmet girls take the time to explain the traditions of the foods and create such a warm and inviting atmosphere that brings a bunch of strangers together that in the end become friends. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a real taste Sorrento outside the normal tourist center.
Our progressive dinner with Vanessa was an absolute highlight of our time in Sorrento! Vanessa was an absolute delight—warm, engaging, knowledgeable, and so much fun to spend the evening with. And the food! Somehow, each bite was better than the last, which is really saying something because everything we ate was amazing. This was so much more than a typical food tour. Vanessa introduced us to wonderful places that we never would have discovered on our own and, more importantly, places we would absolutely want to return to. The entire evening felt relaxed, personal, and incredibly fun. We also lucked out with such a great group of people on our tour, which made the experience even more memorable. Between Vanessa, the incredible food, the hidden gems, and the wonderful company, it was truly the perfect evening. If you love food and want to experience Sorrento in a way that feels authentic and special, we cannot recommend this experience with Vanessa highly enough. We would do it again in a heartbeat!

Our Food and Wine Tour with Gourmet Girls was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Vanessa and Lee are wonderful hosts, it was like hanging out with a couple of friends. Vanessa's patience as we worked through travel issues to get to Sorrento from Positano was so very appreciated. We are very glad we didn't miss out on the fabulous experience.
Absolutely AMAZING experience! Everything about this food tour exceeded our expectations. The wine knowledge, the food knowledge, and especially our hosts were all incredible. The girls who led the experience were so welcoming, knowledgeable, and fun, and they made the entire evening something we’ll remember for a long time. The food and wine were fantastic, but it was the overall experience and the people who made it so special. If you’re visiting Sorrento, I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend doing this tour. Easily one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! 🇮🇹🍷🍝
We had a great time on this food tour. Vanessa and Lee were wonderful guides, offering a lot of insight into Sorrento cuisine and taking us to local restaurants where they dine regularly. They’re terrific people, it was a great experience, and we highly recommend it.
