Spectacular, exhilarating and yet we felt very safe flying with our helicopter pilot Kurt, who has years of experience and expertise. The entire trip was filled with highlights- flying to and from the Sound, the helicopter landing on a snow covered glacier and the Milford Sound Cruise. This was a truly bucket list experience.

The highlight of my New Zealand holiday!! The pick up bus from town and the check in staff at the airport were great!! Our pilot was helpful and reassuring to nervy passengers. The flight was smooth and the trip to Milford was full of unbelievable sights. The Milford Sound boat cruise was beautiful. On the way home on the chopper we landed at the glacier and had the chance to get out and walk around for 10 minutes. An amazing experience!!

An incredible experience. We loved the helicopter trip, saw dolphins playing next to the ship on Milford Sounds and the glacier landing is a once in a lifetime experience.

From the moment we arrived the staff put my anxious daughter at ease. The whole team ooze gold standard professionalism. The pre flight safety brief was short, sharp and easy to understand. Michaels expertise in aeronautics made for a smooth flight experience. He executed manoeuvres with confidence, allowing each passenger time to capture the perfect shot. The glacier landing will forever take my breath away. There were moments during the flight I felt I was in a movie. Book with these guys. You won’t regret it.

Great way to experience the landscape of Queenstown. Saved hours on the road going by helicopter. Well worth it if it’s within the budget.

I’m surprised how so many visitors in Queenstown wanting to visit Milford Sound are not taking advantage of this opportunity and booking this excursion in advance. Are you willing to drive or ride a shuttle for +5 hours? Why not fly there instead and make a pit spot to touch some snow? Our pilot was Kurt and he was hands down very welcoming, professional, and engaged with ensuring that his passengers were safe and getting the best experience possible, weather permitting of course. The process of transitioning from helicopter to the cruise was very smooth and hassle free. We went to Milford Sound in the afternoon and we were very fortunate to have two close sightings of dolphins. It’s best to visit Milford Sound after heavy rainfall to see multiple active waterfalls. If NZ is in a dry spell, it’s still worth a visit especially with the Glacier Helicopters company. You won’t be disappointed!

One of the best experiences I have ever had! The helicopter ride was amazing and our pilot was great. The views were stunning and the cruise was also beautiful.
