Just awesome. The flight was exceptional with incredible scenery. I wasn’t sure about the cruise part but the entertaining commentary and beautiful landscape made it worthwhile.

The wind blew strongly, but the flight was better than taking the bus because it saved time and allowed me to see the mountains.

Fantastic experience! Worth every cent. Smooth process all the way through. Feel very lucky to have seen it all, spectacular. Definately recommended. I might do it again next year!

The whole experience was incredible, from sharing our disappointment that our original tour couldn't go ahead to letting us know "the best next day"! Julie and the reception staff were welcoming and friendly, booking in was easy. Thank you our wonderful pilot Alex for a smooth flight and great commentary. The flight was beyond words! The cruise was exceptional, about 2 hours on the water. The captain and crew of Mitre Peak were awesome. Amazing! One of the best experiences of my life and the highlight of my time on the South Island. So much fun. The beauty of Milford sound and the whole Queenstown region is indescribably beautiful. Amazing Awesome views flying over the snow capped mountains from Queenstown into Milford Sound. The cruise was equally impressive such a special part of the world. Definitely would recommend this trip it’s way better than driving all the way there.

Magnificent trip to the other side of the world

We originally booked the "take a bus to Milford" trip, but were convinced by fellow travelers to switch to the plane ride, and oh my, was that good advice. Not only is it faster, but flying through the mountains is an amazing experience. My wife and I are both private pilots, so it was even more enjoyable for us. I was convinced that would be the highlight of the trip, until we reached the Sound. Taking a boat through the Sound, seeing the sheer volcanic cliffs dropping into the water, glimpsing the vast Pacific to the west, and then getting to fly home again was a day we won't soon forget.
