メナンドロスの館は、建築、装飾、内容ともに古代ポンペイで最も豊かで壮麗な館の一つである。
これらはブロテル街道、ホルコニウス十字路、スタビアナ街道の間の広大な地域を占めている。 市内で最も古いサーマルコンプレックスを表しています。

ハウス・オブ・ザ・スケルトンは、おそらく3つの小さな建物の集合体であり、1831年に2階の部屋で人骨が発見されたことに由来する。
中央テルマエは紀元1世紀初頭ごろに建てられ、当時一般的であったように男湯と女湯に分かれ、それぞれに別々の入口があった。
家には、サムナイト（イタリア中部の山岳地帯を占拠したサビニ人の古代民族）らしい配置がある。 見事なアトリウムは、イオニックな円柱を持つギャラリーによって囲まれている。 室内はフレスコ画で装飾されています。
これはヘルクラネウムで最も独創的な家屋の一つである。 吹き抜けではなく、階段のある中庭と石造りのバルコニーがある。
考古学エリアの中心部にある美しいドムス、様々な環境、コロナティ、至る所にフレスコ画のe-com、ヘルクラネウムの炭化した木製パーツの遺跡。

Vincenzo is a wonderful tour guide. He possesses a remarkable command of Roman history and his love of Pompeii and Herculaneum shines through his tour. Vincenzo showed great care for everyone on the tour to provide the best experience possible. He also made sure we had time to fit in a delicious, quick lunch in between our tours of Pompeii and Herculaneum. The tour was outstanding!
Amazing day at Pompeii and Herculaneum. Our guide Vincinzo was fantastic, very knowledgeable and made us laugh as well. Andrea our driver was great. If there was better information on the meeting point at the Port of Naples rather than a pin on a map, that would have made it easier. A great day though and highly recommended.
Our experience to Pompeii and Herculaneum were amazing. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged, even in the extreme heat. She was very helpful before the tour helping us get our luggage put in storage at Pompeii since our train arrived late. I would recommend this tour without reservation. This was the highlight of our trip.

We loved our tour of Herculaneum with Tiziana! She was warm and friendly, and her pacing was perfect, un rushed and full of fascinating detail. Tiziana guided us thoughtfully through the site, choosing a route that helped us avoid the crowds as much as possible, which made everything feel more personal and enjoyable. She also shared some great tips and insights for our later visit on our own to Pompeii, which we really appreciated. Herculaneum was a highlight of our trip, and Tiziana’s knowledge and passion made it even more special. We’re grateful for such a wonderful experience she truly brought Herculaneum to life. We booked the small group Pompeii and Herculaneum tour with Mafalda and it was AMAZING! Mafalda was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, funny, and considerate of the more heat sensitive guests and also of heavier historical topics. She went out of her way to take us to a requested location in Pompeii and always made sure we were avoiding crowds and other groups as much as possible. Her enthusiasm for the topic was infectious and we would highly highly recommend being part of her "family" for your trip!!
We booked our Herculaneum tour with Mondo Guides. We had an amazing time with Federica . She was great, so knowledgeable and her knowledge and passion for her craft is the best. You can tell she really loves her job and enjoys making our experience the best. Booking with Mondo Guides for both Herculaneum and Pompei was the best thing I did on this trip. Really excellent tour with Vincenzo. His knowledge, sense of humour and ability to bring what we were seeing to life ,was exceptional. We were very late due to poor train services, to the Pompeii part of the tour, but the communication via the main tour office was great, and we still managed to see some of Pompeii. Herculaneum was fabulous- lot less busy, and much smaller, but beautifully preserved. Well worth the trip!
