It was an incredible experience, unpacking the lives and stories of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Michele was an amazing guide - he barely took a breath as he poured out expert knowledge all day long. He was so kind as he answered all our questions and led us around all the key sites in a very controlled and intentional order to optimise the journey and our education. Genuinely impressed with not just the sites but the tour itself. Great driving from Giovanni as well. Highly recommend. Thanks!

Wonderful trip amazing tour guide! Raphael was terrific! The trip was well planned and pacing was food lunch at the mall was ok.

My partner and I had a fantastic tour lead by Raphael who was incredibly knowledgable and also incredibly funny!! One of the best guided tours I have been on. Well worth the money compared to other large and chaotic looking groups! We got to see both sites in one day with a good lunch break. Highly recommend!

This is a great introduction to the two archaeological sites. Our guide Michele gave a very interesting overview of the events of the day that created these frozen cities and a fascinating look into ancient Roman life.

The initial scene in front of Starhotel was a bit chaotic with multiple tour operators, including three groups for this tour all meeting in the same place. After some initial confusion where none of the three Askos guides could locate our reservation, we departed about on time. Rafael was an excellent, knowledgeable guide. He managed to keep our large group entertained for the full day tour.

Wonderful experience, Gennaro our guide was brilliant. He engaged very well with the whole group and had an expert knowledge of the subject.

Well organised tour with just the right amount of information and time at each destination. Mario was an excellent tour guide. He presented information very well and in way that it was easy to follow along. He was genuine, positive and welcoming. Our driver (Vincenzo?) drove smoothly and calmly (not in the usual Italian fashion 😉). Our tour guide in Pompeii was great as well, an archaeologist, who covered quite a bit of Pompeii, how its citizens lived and the volcano eruption. I'm sorry I don't recall their name. My only suggestion would be to have lunch at a small restaurant rather than a shopping centre, but I understand that this gives people more choice. All in all a fantastic tour, which I would recommend to anyone.

Our tour guide Rafael was great - both knowledgeable and personable. Sturdy walking shoes highly recommended and a bottle of water. Adds approx 10,000 steps to your daily step count! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s an all day experience at both Herculaneum and Pompeii but well worth it our tour guide Alfredo was fantastic and very informative.
