ハウス・オブ・ザ・スケルトンは、おそらく3つの小さな建物の集合体であり、1831年に2階の部屋で人骨が発見されたことに由来する。
中央テルマエは紀元1世紀初頭ごろに建てられ、当時一般的であったように男湯と女湯に分かれ、それぞれに別々の入口があった。
家には、サムナイト（イタリア中部の山岳地帯を占拠したサビニ人の古代民族）らしい配置がある。 見事なアトリウムは、イオニックな円柱を持つギャラリーによって囲まれている。 室内はフレスコ画で装飾されています。
これはヘルクラネウムで最も独創的な家屋の一つである。 吹き抜けではなく、階段のある中庭と石造りのバルコニーがある。

This was a great tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Our tour guide made everyone feel welcome and spoke with great enthusiasm about each place. Would definitely recommend it.
Great guide for Pompeji - really made Pompeii and Herculeum come to life and was adaptive to the audience.
I received a call the day before that our excursion Pompeii and Herculaneum was cancelled but they were really nice about it. They changed our excursion to Pompeii with Amalfi Coast with stops in Sorrento and Positano. I was disappointed that we were not going to see Herculaneum but our Guide was great and honored all that they said they would and did a great job. They made this right. Pompeii was amazing and we really loved it. The Amalfi Coast was beautiful and really nice. The tour was good but not really our thing because we really aren't shoppers. It reminded us of the Road to Hana in Hawaii with really nice shops. Food was good. So overall, especially if you like shopping and seeing beautiful coastline this is for you. Hopefully, someday I will get to see Herculaneum.
It was a very hot day when we visited these historical sites. Make sure to bring water and hats and fans when you visit during the summer months. Our tour guide’s name was Vincenzo. He was great! He was knowledgeable, friendly and funny. He made the ruins and their history relevant. He was also very considerate of the heat and always looking for shaded areas to give us the information about the ruins. He was a great guide and is why we had such a good experience there.

This tour was a great way to see both Pompeii and Herculaneum in one day. mondo Travel were great in communicating to us before the actual tour. Our driver arrived on time and in a late model air conditioned car. Our guide was excellent and managed the tour really well considering it was a heatwave day! Stifling. We were initially concerned that it would be rushed, but Vincenzo was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain things in detail to the group. Highly recommend!
