We had an absolutely fantastic full\-day tour of Beijing with **Murphy** — he was brilliant from start to finish\! Our first stop was **Tiananmen Square**, which was incredibly busy as it was National Day\. Despite the crowds, Murphy was calm, organised and incredibly knowledgeable\. He shared so many interesting facts and stories, and importantly, made sure to count us all in and out throughout the day, which gave us great peace of mind\. Next was the **Forbidden City**, where Murphy really brought the history to life\. We learned fascinating facts about the emperors, architecture, heritage and even traditional fashion\. His knowledge made the visit so much more interesting\. We also enjoyed a **really tasty, authentic Chinese lunch** — a lovely part of the experience and a chance to try some local food\. Then came the highlight — **the Great Wall of China\!** What an experience\! The scenery was absolutely spectacular, and we were so pleased to make it all the way to **Watch Tower 20**\. The views were breathtaking and there were incredible photo opportunities everywhere\. We finished the day with an **authentic Chinese tea tasting**, which was the perfect way to end such a memorable day before the long drive back into Beijing\. **Murphy was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and extremely well organised\.** He genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic day\. **Highly recommend this tour — and especially Murphy\! Viator failed us! We were so looking forward to a day tour for our one day in Beijing to see Tiennamin Square and the Great Wall of China. They had a list of several hotels they would pick us up from. We chose a hotel based on their list and made reservations to stay there. When the morning came to pick us up, no one showed up. We called to see what happened and when they finally got a hold of the tour operator they said you are way out of our pick up area. Even with a printed confirmation, Viator had us staying st a hotel where they did NOT pick up!! The actual location was an hour away. So we missed our tour and seeing Tiennamin Square which we had greatly looked forward to. I am so disappointed in you, Viator. You ruined a once in a lifetime adventure.

Murphy was great. He was casual and fun. Easy to understand and informative. We felt comfortable with him. I liked the itinerary, and it ticked off the big ticket items simply and efficiently. It was a big day but it wasn’t rushed. We had ample time everywhere and came back happy. The bus had tiny tight chairs but was clean and the aircon worked well.

Murphy was an amazing guide, he explained everything clearly and was a great character to spend time with, would recommend. The sites were great, the photo opportunities were just as good and the hospitality was great too.

We had a fantastic experience with our guide, Chuan, during our Beijing tour. We visited the Summer Palace, Mutianyu Great Wall, and enjoyed a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. From the beginning of the day until the very end, Chuan was punctual, cooperative, friendly, and highly professional. He explained everything clearly and shared interesting information about each place we visited. He patiently answered all our questions and gave us plenty of time to explore, take photos, and enjoy each attraction without feeling rushed. The vehicle was clean and very comfortable, and the driver was also professional, friendly, and drove safely throughout the day. Everything was very well organized. Chuan and the driver made our day comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable. We truly appreciated Chuan’s excellent service and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Beijing.

Mr. Murphy was an excellent guide full of enthusiasm and knowledge. He arranged pick-up from my hotel outside of the normal range. The tour has great value. Everything is excellently organized. You visit Tiananmen, which is not always possible for individual travelers. Highly recommended!
