We had a fantastic day with Lucy visiting Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Mutianyu Great Wall.
As it was National Day, Beijing was incredibly busy, but Lucy’s local knowledge and timing made a huge difference. She helped us through the crowds, knew the best places for photos, and made sure everything ran smoothly.
Lucy was warm, friendly and very knowledgeable throughout the day. Our personal highlight was the Great Wall absolutely unforgettable.
A genuine five-star experience. We would highly recommend Lucy and this tour.

Wonderful trio

Good Sightseeing, but Room for Improvement
The small-group tour takes you to some of the best sites around Beijing, but the “jade workshop” and “tea ceremony” felt more like tourist traps designed to make a sales pitch. The lunch was also well below the standard I’ve experienced elsewhere in Beijing.
Our guide also asked for tips on two occasions during the tour, which I haven’t encountered on my other Beijing tours. I have nothing against tipping for good service, but it shouldn’t be made to feel expected, particularly when the tour is already on the higher end in terms of price.
Other than that, the pick-up and drop-off were punctual, and we had a good amount of time at each site. Overall, the sightseeing portion was enjoyable, but the sales stops, lunch, and repeated requests for tips took away from the experience.

Maggie, our tour guide,...
Maggie, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout our tour. Our tour happened on the day of a political event so we had to skip the visit to the Square but Maggie made it right by helping some of us reserving tickets for the following day. She also went further by giving us a rundown of what to expect at the Square. Highly recommend!

Awesome tour and extraordinary guide Maggie
This was an unforgettable and awesome experience in a single day. Lunch was delicious with vegatarian option. The tour guide Maggie was extra ordinary, covered historical and cultural aspects of each visit. She also helped me find my way to the meeting point when I got lost. Despite seeing forbidden city and great wall, we got enough time to buy souvenirs and tour guide is very accomodative and flexible. I highly recommend this tour with maggie.

A wonderful experience
We had an amazing tour hosted by Maggie!

We had an absolutely amazing experience on this tour! Everything was very well organized, from start to finish, and we got to see some of the most incredible places in Beijing, including, the Forbidden City, and the Great Wall.
A special thank you to our amazing tour guide Maggie! She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and made the entire day enjoyable. She shared so many interesting stories and details about the history and culture, and she was always making sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time.
The Great Wall was definitely the highlight of our trip, and having Maggie guide us made the experience even more special. She also helped us throughout the day with directions, timing, and anything we needed.
