This tour is exceptional!! We would highly recommend this tour....the tour guide (Tierrey) was highly knowledgeable, friendly and made the tour highly enjoyable. Please know that the steps up to Pena Palace are a bit demanding.

We met right across from the cruise terminal in Lisbon. Maria, our guide and driver showed up exactly at 9:30 (not earlier, as there was no parking available on Lisbon streets). there were 9 of us all together including Maria in a large Mercedes SUV. Traffic was bad on the way to Sintra. First she dropped us in the town and we had about 30 minutes to walk around, get a pastry at the famous bakery, shop and take photos of the palace there. She picked us up and we drove up the mountain to the Pena Palace and gardens. The walk to the top was a very steep climb and she arranged the mini bus for the gentleman with a walker. We had time to go into the chapel and around the towers for the view, which is incredible. This is a major tourist site and was extremely crowded, but we didn't have to wait in the lines. Cascais was great for lunch on our own - delicious seafood - we had bacalhau with fresh vegetables. The only complaint I have is that when Maria was talking in the car we could not hear her as there was no microphone. I think we missed the historic and local commentary. Other than that she was great, efficient and gave us fine ideas for restaurants in Cascais.

We had a great day on this tour. Gustavo was on time, gave us great information about the area as we drove from place to place. He gave us time to explore and made helpful suggestions in each of the places we visited. We would definitely recommend this tour

Small group 7 people Sites were beautiful Information was limited of sites and driving along way to sites were limited Communication was good for pick up

Our local guide/driver Teirry was very knowledgeable about history of Lisbon, Sintra and Cascais. Along with the sights and tour we tasted food & pastries. Teirry was on time and very personable. Our transportation was very clean & comfortable. Sintra was absolutely amazing!

George was on time awaiting for arrival. Easy directions right actors from port. He was very informative, spoke very good English and a pleasure to spend our day with. He was very accommodating dropping our party off where they wanted to be. His philosophy was this is your time. We were a group of 7. Very personal. Highly recommend. So much better than a large bus tour.

Adelino was a well seasoned guide with a smooth and comfortable delivery. We had a very good experience.
