Francisco was absolutely fantastic and the tour was incredible. He was very knowledgeable, very pleasant, knew how to make sure we were all comfortable and was very accommodating. The tour itself was great and exactly what we were looking for. We travel a lot and this is by far the best tour and tour guide we had. Would book again when we come back.
We had a great time on this private tour of Sintra and Pena Palace. Sintra was absolutely beautiful, and Francis helped make the experience even more enjoyable. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and sites we visited, and he shared information in a way that was both interesting and easy to follow. He was also very patient with us as we stopped frequently to take photos! A couple things we really appreciated: - Francis was happy to help take photos and videos for us throughout the day, which allowed us to capture some great memories together. He never made us feel rushed and was very accommodating to our pace. - The tour had proactively bought us tickets to visit a palace that we wouldn't have known to buy ahead of time and thus wouldn't have been able to visit. Great planning ahead! Overall, this was a fantastic experience and a highlight of our time in Portugal. We would highly recommend both the tour and Francis to anyone visiting Lisbon.
We had a great tour to Sintra! Our guide John was excellent. He provided us with the history of Sintra, Peña Palace and Quinta da Regaleira. The tour was relaxed and never felt rushed. The restaurant recommended for lunch was terrific and had a view of the Atlantic! From the convenience of hotel pickup, to all the recommendations, our family loved the experience!
We had a lovely time on this Sintra tour. The guide was passionate and informative, and it felt like he genuinely cared about giving everyone a good experience. Sintra itself was stunning, and the day was well organized overall.
I really enjoyed this day trip to Sintra from Lisbon. My tour guide (Marta) was very personable and told me all about living in Portugal, different foods to try, languages, and other cultural differences from my country. She was very knowledgeable about the sites that we visited and took me to an extra viewpoint because we had a little extra time before our timed tickets began for the sites. The car was neat and clean, and she picked me up at my hotel. She would also drop me off near the entrance if she had to drive too far to park. Otherwise, she stayed with me to discuss things we were seeing. Highly recommend!
Was a wonderful FULL day with Lorenco! Car was comfortable and clean. He was full of interesting knowledge- just enough! Guided us through 2 amazing castles….a trip to the gorgeous beach and helped us order a delicious lunch like we were locals. Gave us the tips to explore cutest area of Sintra, pastries included. He had a nice sense of humor as well. It was a great day….
Our guide Ines was amazing!! She reached out to us the night before to get an idea of exactly what we wanted to do so she could plan accordingly. She was waiting for us at the Pier and made it easy to find her. From there we shared a beautiful day in Siintra, Pena Park and Cascais. Her knowledge of the history and points of interest was very insightful, and she knew how to navigate through the tightest tourist attractions and traffic with ease. We went on a tour in Lisbon, Portugal on April 27, 2026, with our guide, Joao (John). Not only did we learn fascinating history about Lisbon and visit some absolutely beautiful castles, but we were also fortunate to have such a kind and thoughtful guide.
