リスボンから向かう9時間のグループツアーで、シントラとカスカイスを探索しましょう。8名限定、英語のみで催行されるツアーとなります。魅力的なシントラの村を訪れます。ここでは、トラヴェセイロ（ポルトガル語で「枕」の意味）やシントラチーズケーキ（ケイジャーダ）といった、名物の絶品ペストリーを味わうチャンスがあります。その後、ヨーロッパ大陸の最西端にあるロカ岬を訪れます。かつて人々はこの場所を地の果てと考えていました。息をのむような感動の景色が広がっています。カスカイスへの道中では圧巻のオーシャンビューを楽しめます。続いては、散策、昼食、軽食などが楽しめる美しい海沿いの街、カスカイスに立ち寄ります。最後の目的地は、旧王室の宮殿であるペーナ宮殿です。ユニークで驚きが詰まった、おとぎ話に出てくるようなスポットです。

シントラは、数千年前に創設された、主に歩行者が住む古代の村です。 ギリシア人はシントラを「月の山」と呼び、現在でもおとぎ話の村に似ている。 1995年からユネスコの世界遺産に指定されている。 滞在中は、1862年から続く歴史あるベーカリーの有名なトラヴェセイロス（枕）を試す自由時間があります。 軽くパフ状にしたこれらのペイストリーは、7回ほど複雑に回したり、巻いたり、折り曲げたりした後、アーモンドと卵黄のおいしいクリームを詰め、砂糖を軽くまぶします。 シントラチーズケーキも楽しめます。
1862年から続く同族の老舗ベーカリーを訪れ、軽くパフ状にしたペストリーを7回巻いて折った名物のトラヴェセイロスを堪能。 アーモンドと卵黄をクリーミーに混ぜ、砂糖を軽くまぶした楽しいペストリーです。 あるいは、13世紀にまで遡る歴史的な文献があるシントラチーズケーキを試すこともできます。 当時、このチーズケーキは家賃の支払い手段としてよく利用されていた。
有名なワインセラーで知られるコーラレスは、大西洋へ向かう途中にあります。 この魅力的な村には、13世紀に遡るワインの豊かな歴史があります。 その風景は時が経つにつれて凍りついているように見え、古い別荘や美しい邸宅、大小の農場が混在する風景、そして一世紀前の路面電車が映し出されている。
大西洋から150メートル（500フィート）の高さにそびえる断崖が特徴のワイルドなロケーション、カボ・ダ・ロカに立ち寄ります。 ここは大陸ヨーロッパの最西端である。 この地域は、大西洋の轟音とともに息をのむような景色が広がる、人里離れた素晴らしい景観を提供しています。
カボ ダ ロカ灯台は、ポルトガルで最も有名な灯台の 1 つです。中に入ることはできませんが、18世紀の美しい建物を外から楽しむことができます。

カスカイスはかつて漁村であり、19世紀後半から20世紀初頭にかけてポルトガル王室のリゾート地として人気を博した。 今日では、ポルトガル語人観光客と海外からの観光客の両方に人気の休暇先となっています。 村には小さな美術館、絵のように美しい庭園、美しいマリーナ、歩行者天国の旧市街があります。 ランチや軽食で立ち寄り、ポルトガルで最も有名なアイスクリーム、サンティーニのゼラティを試してみるのがおすすめです！

We had a wonderful day exploring Sintra, Cascade, and Pena Palace with our wonderful guide, Ricardo. He was warm, attentive, and highly engaging with everyone in our group (including our teenaged and college-age kids), as he shared information about Portugal generally and the areas we visited (including walking us through the Pena Palace and pointing out many small details that I don’t think we’d have gotten from an audio tour). The day was a nice blend of being with the larger group and on our own with our family throughout. I would highly recommend this tour—specifically with Ricardo—if you have time for a day trip while visiting Lisbon!
This was a great tour of Lisbon’s highlights. Ricardo was a great guide. He made sure we were all comfortable and safe. His friendly and humorous demeanor put me at ease straight away. Ricardo was an amazing tour guide! The tour was 8 hours but it flew by and felt like minutes. We saw and learned so much about Sintra and Portuguese culture and history. Ricardo treated us like family and made sure we all felt included and having fun. I didn’t know what to expect but left feeling inspired by the beauty and resilience of Portugal and amazed by Ricardo’s white glove service. He can park an 8 person van in the most daunting of situations. Absolutely incredible thank you Ricardo for being the highlight of our trip.

My best friend and I did this tour with our tour guide Ricardo, and a group of other lovely individuals. The whole experience was amazing and 100% worth every penny. Ricardo is the best tour guide I’ve ever had personally. He was very knowledgeable and had great tips/insight. Also just a very down to earth person.
