Gaztelugatze was strenuous for us as 60+ year olds, but it was an experience. Bermeo and Gernica surprised us with how beautiful these towns are.

Estephan was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very helpful.

Climbing to the hermitage requires medium-high physical preparation, because the time is also timed; on my excursion some people did not make it to the bus and were left behind... they should warn about it in the program, our guide Pedro warned us, and he did a very good job. Another improvement could be the organization of time, we went very, very fast, we could barely see Bermeo and the same for Mundaka. Either you had a drink or you saw the cathedral, both things were impossible

San Juan de Gaztelugatxe is worth it even if you need to be in excellent physical shape: 1200m of elevation gain in 800m. In my opinion I would skip Mundaka and also Gernika. Beautiful Bermeo but little time to stay there.

The guide Aitor was a phenomenon, he explained the history of everything to us at all times. A pleasant experience.

It is essential to wear the best footwear you have for trekking and to be physically prepared, as the ascents and descents are very steep.

Lovely excursion, mention apart deserves Pedro, what a magnificent guide tam, so cultured and so pleasant, for me the best of the tours I have done.
